This newer SMOKE-FREE lake home features two separate living areas. Yours is the Garden level with a private entrance and walkout deck leading to the lake. I live upstairs with a separate entrance on the other side of the house, and I keep to myself unless you need something.
Enjoy this wonderful getaway with a full view of the water. The Garden level of the house and the entire lower deck space are exclusively for guests' enjoyment, including amazing sunrises! Wake up to a gorgeous view of the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious 550 sq. ft. lower deck. There are separate stairs to your private entrance. The relaxing interior has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen that is very well stocked (dishwasher, stove/oven, full-size refrigerator), lots of seasonings, a bathroom with a shower/tub, and a living room with views of the lake. Dish TV with Roku, YouTube, and lots of DVDs for you to choose from, as well as Wi-Fi. Dedicated workspace upon request. Fun games are available.
Kayaks, paddle boards, and flotation devices are available for you to use. There is great fishing, a fire pit, stargazing, and birds galore!
Many local activities include Lake Lure Restaurants and shops are opening they are restoring part of the Flowering Bridge, Waterfalls, TIEC, and Wineries. Miles of hiking trails in the neighborhood and in the area!
Bird watching is great! 3 Bald Eagles, 2 American Eagles, Blue Herons, Blue Birds, and so many more live here, and other wildlife to observe. I even have a flock of Yellow Finches that feed daily at my feeders and several Hummingbirds.
Children over 8 and infants are welcome. Because of direct access to the lake, the safety of small children is my concern.
If you are traveling with your 4 legged friends, please advise on size and type. Dogs must be on a leash due to Lake Adger Homeowners Association requirements. Please pick up after your pet. No animals of any kind are allowed on any furniture.
Washer and Dryer are available upstairs. I would be happy to do it for you.
You are REQUIRED to send a copy of your driver's license or passport to book this property.

You must confirm you have read and agree to the
HOUSE RULES
1. NO SMOKING OR VAPING not suited for active smokers.
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
2. QUIET HOURS are from 10PM to 7AM. Please be respectful
of the neighbors. Please turn the outside lights off when you go
to bed or before.
3. PROPERTY AND FURNISHINGS are to be kept in good order.
items are to be returned in good condition to their original
place upon departure. No standing or jumping on the furniture.
4. Keurig Coffee Brewer: Use the water in the jugs under
the counter in the coffee brewer! This is filtered water to keep any
build up from occurring in the brewer. If you need more just ask.
5. WATER AND SEPTIC: The house is on a well and septic system
and will clog up if improper material is flushed down the toilet.
Do not put any kind of grease down the drain!
DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET
PAPER DOWN THE TOILET! DO NOT FLUSH FEMININE
PRODUCTS OR FACIAL MAKEUP REMOVER WIPES OR
PAPER TOWELS DOWN THE TOILET.
6. Pets: No Pets on any of the furniture please. Dogs must be on a
leash per the Homeowner Association Rules.
7. WIRE RAILING: PLEASE DO NOT HANG ANYTHING ON THE
WIRES! DO NOT PUT YOUR FEET ON THE WIRES. The wire is
is strong and does its job, there are cracks in the wood that can cause
some of them to come out. Do not hang towels over the railing.
8. Deck Furniture: Please move any deck chairs gently, the
decking is tough however it will scratch. Your cooperation is greatly
appreciated.
9. ACCIDENTS: The owner is not responsible for any accidents,
injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. The owner
is not responsible for lost personal items. By accepting this reservation,
it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm
arising from their use of the premises or others they invite to
use the premises.
10. KAYAKS must be secured either to the railing on the dock or
place by the stairs. Lake Adger is a public lake. If people see
things that are easily accessible they may take them.
Also the winds can pick and blow things into the lake.
Lost kayaks are the responsibility of the guest staying in the
apartment. Kayak replacement is $800.
11. WATER FLOATS AND UMBRELLAS:
All water float must be brought up to the deck to dry. If it is windy
please secure them between the chairs.
Umbrellas must be secured to the dock railing with a bungee cord.
Never leave an umbrella open and unattended! The wind will
take it away and lost umbrellas are the responsibility of the guests.
The chairs on the dock also need to be secured.
