About this property

Happy Hills 😁is a 3bedroom 1bath DIY cabin with side patio and garage

We call it happy hills because it’s hard not to be happy here it is 30 minutes from Glendale FORD plant. It has three bedroom one bathroom cabin with a side, concrete patio and fire pit and small coffee bar . The living room has two full-size couches just perfect for family movie night we have Wi-Fi in the house, so Netflix movies are available We also include our garage in the rental and we have a private community ramp that you may use for your boat ,there is private parking at the ramp, but you have to stay off the docks however, swimming is allowed beside the ramp. Our cabin is comfortable, cozy, and quiet it is close to Mammoth Cave, Blue Hollow ATV park, and or you may want to take a short 30 minute drive to Cave city and enjoy some of the tourist attractions down there, such as diamond mines and dinosaur world or maybe even take a cave tour. We love to have guests , and we are more than happy to answer any questions you have during your stay!

Great experience overall! Very cozy place to stay while exploring the area (Mammoth cave, Bowling Green, etc). Plenty of room for our family of 4 including our dog. It was also nice having a garage to park our car. Would Definitely stay again if we are in the area!

You should not be giving us a six out of 10 you did not even stay at our cabin for more than an hour. We still gave you a partial refund. You should have looked at the pictures closely. It is obviously a do it yourself on top of the fact, you lied and said the reason you were leaving was because of your son. People should really check pictures and make sure it’s where they want to stay before they book and bring people’s good reputations.

The cabin was great. Amazing place. The host was easy to talk to great engagement with them. By far very kind people. Only thing I didn’t care for was having to throw used toilet paper into trash can. Due to them not wanting it in their septic. Only complaint I have.

We stayed at this cozy little cabin while visiting Kentucky from Minnesota, and it was exactly what our family needed. The property is tucked away in the woods, giving it such a peaceful and secluded feel, yet it was still convenient to everything we wanted to do. Everyone we met in the area was so kind and welcoming, and the host was incredibly sweet—always available to answer any questions we had.We loved grilling outside, sitting around the fire pit, and relaxing with Netflix (such a nice bonus!) before heading out for our Mammoth Cave adventure. It truly felt like a hidden gem, the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect as a family. Very pleasant. I would recommend finding the place in daylight the first time. The roads in that area are very curvy, hilly, and dark! Otherwise the air con was cold, the shower was hot, and the beds were comfy! A little further from Mammoth Cave than we expected- about 45 minutes.

A quiet little place

It’s nice and tucked back in some beautiful trees. The place was clean and pretty much exactly what we were looking for. The only drawback is as a very firm master suite mattress, but some folks love that! The communication with the hosts was fantastic and they did a pretty good job of leaving instructions for things. I’d stay here again.

Unfortunately through no fault of the owner, the water main was broken the first night so we were unable to stay but the property was very clean and was exactly as described in the ad

Quiet and Peaceful

Not a single noisy neighbor. Very restful after visiting Mammoth Cave National Park - only an hour away. The decorations, and sayings plaques were fun to read and offered a home feel atmosphere.

Visiting Mammoth Cave for Spring Break

This place had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation with our kids. The neighborhood was quiet and everyone I met on my morning walks was very friendly. Close proximity to all that Mammoth Cave has to offer but far enough away to have some quiet time at the end of the day. Property owner is very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
