Cedar Point Cottage. Enjoy Michigan at it's best. Beautiful seclusion year around, enjoy nature and gorgeous Lake Michigan. Convenient, yet secluded, this three-bed room, two bath salt box cottage sits at the tip of Cedar Point. Right on Ridge Road, only a small wood lot separates you from the park staircase leading you down to 800 feet of private association Lake Michigan beach and to fabulous Lake Michigan sunsets. Built in 2003, the cottage has a stone fire place, and a large deck across the back that overlooks the wood lot and park, both of which buffer you from the neighbors. A bedroom that can sleep up to four is downstairs, as is one of the two bathrooms. Upstairs, an open loft sleeps two, and the upstairs bath, which separates the loft from the master bedroom, is accessible from both. A washer, dryer, ping pong, and foosball table greets you in the basement. Flat-screen TV's in the Livingroom and basement, along with wireless internet are also popular features!

Memorial Weekend Stay

Home was close enough to walk to the Lake. We were out in the country, but close enough to towns and other activities. Communication with owner was great. The Welcome book was very helpful and easy to read, along with favorite local spots to visit!

Lake Michigan Cottage

My family and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning to the same property later in the year! Very satisfied. We loved the cleanliness, short walk to the beach, table tennis and foosball, indoor fireplace, and the short drive to Pentwater.

Lake Michigan Autumn Getaway

Lovely large cottage with fireplace. We came back to the Pentwater - Mears area to relive some old camping memories. This place did not disappoint. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful yard and only 30 seconds from the crashing waves of Lake Michigan. Owner was a super communicator. Day trips to Pentwater, Ludington, Montague, Whitehall, Shelby and Hart made for a winning weekend!

Perfect location

The property is as listed. It was stocked very well with towels, linens and kitchen supplies. The walk is very short to the beach and the beach is beautiful and was not crowded. It is a short drive to silver lake and Pentwater. It’s close to places to eat and shop if needed. The deck was great to drink your morning coffee on or eat dinner. There were extra beach chairs to take to the beach which was a lifesaver!! The kids loved having the ping pong table. There’s board games if there’s a rainy day. The WiFi worked perfectly. We didn’t get great reception but having the WiFi really helped. Carol was very responsive and shared great information about the house and location. I would vacation there again in a heartbeat!

Summer Vacation

We couldn't have asked for a better house and location for our family! The house is exactly as pictured, very clean, and had a well stocked kitchen, exta linens, wash cloths, bath towels, and beach towels. We took advantage of the beautiful beach every day. With young kids, this was ideal as we could go back and forth to the house and beach easily if needed. The backyard was very calming as the house was surrounded by trees and had a great pit for bonfires! The deck was spacious, we ate outside for dinner every night! The owners were very responsive when I had any questions or concerns. We would choose to stay at this home again and highly recommend it!

A Little Bit of Everything for Everyone

Nice escape for a fun beach vacation. Property has a short walk through wooded path down stairs to the beach for swimming and nighttime bonfire fun. Close to Silver Lake for fun at the Sand Dunes, Light House tour, ice cream, and fun park. Quick 15 minute drive north to Pentwater is a beautiful drive with fun places to shop and eat. If staying while it's hot out, the fans in the windows at night help a lot since there is no central air in house. Loved the enclosed backyard deck for outside gatherings and meals that allowed us to still visit with pets without worry of them running off or being tied up. Loved the entertainment space downstairs with the ping pong table as well. First vacation home we rented where coffee/creamer, condiments in fridge, and other thoughtful touches were included. Thank you!! Beautiful home. Would love to stay in the fall as well.

Wonderful experience

We came north to escape the heat and we did heat index in West Tn was 104 while we enjoyed 70 degree weather Pentwater looks like a scene out of a HalMark movie. Very friendly people also. Great Eacape and wonderful vacation

We had a great short weekend!

Very clean, the house was exactly as pictured, hosts had quick communication and allowed us a late check out. The walk to the beach is a short distance away with beautiful new stairs. This home was exactly what we needed for a short getaway! Would love to return during the summer!

Great house and location

This is our second time staying in this house. We love that the house is well stocked. Great location with short walk to beach. Really love that private beach is dog friendly since our dogs are water lovers. Carol was very accomodating and allowed us to check in early. It was rainy and chilly so we loved having the fireplace. Lots of things to see and plenty of walking areas. We will definitely be back again

Great Lake Michigan Beach House

Very awesome place to stay,very clean cottage! Beach is a very short walk down some stairs,very good cardio! We will hopefully be back next year for sure.Very close to any stores that have what you need and lots of activities for the kids..We loved it!!!!!!!

You couldn’t ask for anything more!

We love the Pentwater area and this house was a great choice for our stay. It was a big advantage to be able to being our pets along. The house is stocked with EVERYTHING you could need including beach chairs. It doesn’t have central air but the portable air conditioner in the master bedroom and the ceiling fan in the living room made it super comfortable! You couldn’t get any closer to Lake Michigan and the stairs to the beach were recently re-done. I wouldn’t Hesitate To stay here again. The owners were very responsive when we had a question.

PERFECT PROPERTY

This is one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at. The home is spotless and well outfitted. Although it is close to a road, you only hear noise if front door is open and it is not too close to neighbors. There are a few pet restrictions, which is understandable. The deck is very peaceful. The beach is pristine and was perfect during our visit. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again if visiting this area, which has so much to offer.

We Picked A Good One !!!

Cedar Point Cottage isn't just any VRBO property, it's the Noud's home and we felt like their welcomed guests from the moment we opened the front door. Five stars isn't enough! What made our trip great was the beach behind the house (stairs down to the lake are brand new), visiting Little Sable Point Lighthouse and the two beautiful nearby cities of Pentwater and Ludington (great shopping!). I also enjoyed preparing our Thanksgiving feast in the well-appointed kitchen. Here at the cottage no detail is overlooked from the hand soap (watermelon scented) to the "elephant" towel. So many books to read and games to play (or just watch FEAR FACTOR on tv). Comfortable and Clean. Sunny and Warm. The cottage became our home away from home. We enjoyed an awesome Thanksgiving Break. Highly recommend staying at this VRBO!

This VRBO was clean, comfortable and well-supplied. The setting was quiet and peaceful with easy access to a very pristine beach on Lake Michigan - with spectacular sunsets and awesome for walking. Location is great for trips to nearby Pentwater and Ludington. The trees were spectacular during our fall trip. The home has a great fireplace that we enjoyed every night. Also, have a great deck with plenty of seating and room to barbecue. We all enjoyed the ping-pong table! Thank you for sharing this excellent VRBO property!
