About this property

Cozy 3-bedroom cottage, large yard, minutes from Lake Michigan. Pet friendly.

We are located half way between Pentwater and Ludington, making easy outings of either to enjoy shopping, wine tasting or eating out. It is also just 2 miles from Lake Michigan and a spectacular public access beach.

The cottage is ideally situated on a beautiful 2-acre wooded lot with a large yard and deck to enjoy spending time with family or friends. We have a grill, fire pit, corn hole, cairn builder and a playset.

Some of the things we enjoy doing:
Kayaking: Henry's Landing, Pentwater River Outfitters
Wine Tasting: Pere Marquette Winery, Ocean Winery and Vineyard (lots more as well)
Biking: Pentwater Pathways, Hart-Montague Trail
Hiking: Lost Loop Trail, Pentwater Pathways, Nordhouse Dunes Trail
Art: Painted Frog Studio
Farmer's Market: Mondays and Thursdays, plus the Up North Farm Market

Remodelled country house.

House was clean. Communication with owner was excellent. Rural setting on a main road. On site garden was quaint.

House was clean and very cute! It was very close to Pentwater and Ludington. There are pickleball courts in Pentwater and lots of ice cream shops. Ludington is bigger with more to do. Go to Pentwater for a quieter beach. We went to a free petting zoo just up the road. Ludington beach was super busy. We had access to the lovely garden (peppers, tomatoes, peas, dill, lettuce etc). Host thought of all the little things like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, dishwasher pods etc. Host was very responsive to questions. Pets are welcome. There is a litter box if you have a cat. Bowls for food and water. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Disc golf in the wooded area behind the house. Really enjoyed our stay here!

My husband and I from a small town in Michigan. We currently live outside of Chicago, but love coming to Northern Michigan whenever we can.

Why they chose this property

Our place is halfway between Ludington and Pentwater and about 5 minutes to a great public beach. Easy to go to the wineries, disc golfing, blueberry picking, kayaking or have a great beach day.

What makes this property unique

We have a small 5 hole disc golf course throughout our woods, a great fire pit and a large lawn to play corn hole or just hang out.
