Quiet, spacious, clean and private.

We loved our stay at this very well equipped and comfortable house with an amazing, private backyard. The hosts went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed during our six week stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located close to shops and restaurants. Our house burned down in the LA fires, and we were desperate to find a place where we could collect our thoughts, get organized and process our loss. Their kindness and compassion went above and beyond what we expected.

Fantastic Home in Great Location

I have been going to Palm Springs area with the same group of girlfriends for 11 years. This year we stayed here rather than renting the home we previously stayed at our first 10 years. The home is immaculate, well laid out for our group of 5 and the location is fantastic. The pool/golf/bocce areas plus outside seating areas including the fire pit were very much enjoyed. The owners were very responsive when we called to ask a couple questions re: kitchen utensils/appliances. The ease of getting keys and returning them was a breeze. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend staying here.

This "Mid Century Oasis" was perfect for my family to gather for Christmas. It is located in a very convenient area for shopping, but is also far enough away from the commercial area to be quiet all day and night. My two small dogs were safe in the large fenced backyard and the pool and outdoor games were fun, especially for the younger family members. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. A few more dishes would be helpful so the dishwasher could be full when operated. The dining table was excellent for sharing food and playing games. Side trips to Joshua Tree and Idyllwild were special and recommended. Our tour of Sunnylands, the home of Walter Annenberg, was definitely worth the price. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

Everything you could need or ask for in a getaway!

We had an amazing time, from pre-arrival to check-in and throughout our stay there wasn’t anything we felt was missing or could have been better. The property has so much to do, games, areas to lounge, the pool, putting & chipping area, we were outside most of the time enjoying the backyard and the weather. The neighborhood was quiet & safe and close to everything! Inside the decor was fun but functional and comfortable, especially the beds and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking at home. It was perfect!

I've rented plenty of places via VRBO over the years. And a few in Palm Springs area. But I can honestly say Biskra Oasis has been my all time favorite. If you are even slightly considering booking, do yourself a favor and just say yes! The house is perfect. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool area is great for unwinding or some fun. The yard has plenty of activiites. And an amazing gas powered fire pit! The location is walkable to coffee, restaurants, and hiking! The owners are so communicative and helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience! Book now!

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the Biskra Oasis! The property is well equipped and maintained with a beautiful pool and hot tub, 5 hole golf course, horse shoes, and a fire pit. Our kids had a great time with all of it! The owners were very responsive to questions and It was a very smooth process! Location is great too- very close to the outdoor mall and restaurants (though we didn’t go there due to the pandemic)

Fun family getaway

Our family of 5 felt right at home in this lovingly decorated and comfortable house! Down to the details, the house is a nice retro mid-century style with cute decor items to complete the vibe. The open floor plan made it easy for everyone to be together, and yet there was plenty of space for each of us to spread out or have some quiet time alone. The pool was clean and the outdoor space was enjoyable and well landscaped- our kids had a blast in the pool, and we could relax in the covered outdoor seating areas. The kitchen and grill were stocked with everything you could need for meals at home- there were even board games and card games to enjoy. In the evening, adults enjoyed the hot tub with convenient main bedroom access- even a comfy outdoor bed for lounging under the stars. We didn’t use the extra casita space, but it looked neat and cozy for another couple (or older kids.) Our host was very accommodating and attentive, and we we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The whole family enjoyed the stay, and we can’t wait to return.

Mother's Indian Wells getaway

Definitely a good place for moms to relax and enjoy the relative peace/ quiet of not having to helicopter our own kids for a few days. After a 5 hour day of playing tennis ( Indian Wells tournament was cancelled due to Covid 19), the pool and hot tub was a must. Cute mid century mod theme, just not done with their update at the time we were there. We didn't have hot water for the first 24 hours, but the owners tried to get it taken care of as soon as possible. By the time we played tennis, swam and hot tubbed, water was fixed in time for us to take hot showers in the early evening. All in all, a good place for a moment of respite.

This home is authentic mid century, well equipped and managed by friendly responsive owners. The back yard is special with wonderful views, lots of sunshine. games and pool toys. Also provided ......ample laundry detergent, coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner; hair dryers, basic condiments, toilet paper, welcome wine and treats are a very nice touch. Great spot to stay when visiting the area.

Even better than expected!

Our extended family (2 parents, 3 kids, grandma and aunt) just stayed at the Biskra Oasis and the house had everything we needed and more! The house is even bigger and better than it looks in the photos! There was easily room for the 7 of us, with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for lots of great family meals and games and the backyard offered SO much! The pool and hot tub were well heated and the kids enjoyed the putting green and horseshoes, while the adults enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks outside with breathtaking views! The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and close to restaurants, shopping and hiking trails. The homeowners were readily available both before and during our visit with local recommendations and helpful hints and they responded very quickly to any and all inquiries. We had other family members who rented a much more expensive house nearby, but the Biskra Oasis was the clear winner in every way! Thank you especially to Megan, who even offered great recommendations for when we traveled on to LA after Palm Springs!

Your home was ideal for our 2 families. We loved the location in Rancho Mirage - near a park with lighted tennis and pickle ball courts, minutes from shops and restaurants, and centrally located in the desert to get to golf courses. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood we enjoyed ALL the home’s backyard activities as well as the casita. We would love to return next year!

We really enjoyed our time in Biskra Oasis. The owners were quick in responding to our rental inquiry and the rental process was flawless. The home is located in a quiet residential area where palm trees and fruit trees line the streets. We loved the view from the back yard as we sat at the patio table with our morning coffee. The home was spacious and all the features of the home (BBQ, spa, pool, coffee maker...) were in perfect working condition. We will definitely be booking this home again.

The property was exactly like the pictures depicted. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend. My granddaughters spent much of their time in the pool or putting on the putting green. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots & pans and utensils. The property is close to El Paseo and other shopping venues. Huge thanks to Dan, John & Megan for making such a beautiful home as the Biskra Oasis available to us. We loved our time here - this gracious desert home is beautiful and welcoming. Pool and spa time was wonderful. And the special amenities of horseshoes and a putting green gave us lots of fun things to do together right on the property. Really, there just isn't another place as beautiful as this that offers so much! To top things off, Biskra Oasis is situated at the gorgeous top of the Magnesia Falls Cove near Porcupine Creek, surrounded by dramatic mountains and overlooking the entire Coachella Valley - you wil want to be outside on the elegant outdoor seating area, relaxing every afternoon with time to enjoy the amazing magic hour before sunset as different shades and hues are painted on the mountains. For things to do in Palm Springs or down in La Quinta, we found Rancho Mirage to be a convenient twenty-minute drive in either direction. Grocery stores are literally five minutes away - as is the elegant El Paseo shopping district. Biskra Oasis delivered for our week in the desert!

I love this property. I've stayed there before and it's always a good experience. The house is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. Very centrally located. Stocked with everything you should need. It's clean and taken care of. The pool is s nice size and the backyard is perfect for lounging in shade or sun.

Why they chose this property

Our love of golf and the peaceful desert ambience drew us to this neighborhood. The property if far enough from the 111 to avoid traffic noise but close enough to walk to The River for dinner, drinks, or a movie. When we are not renting we are here golfing. hiking, and enjoying all the desert has to offer.
