Enjoy a great vacation with your own special place on the Kona coast. There is only a coconut palm between you and the ocean front, you get the air and the sound from the ocean 24/7. If you like to watch the surf and hear it at it's best, this is the place. Just about everything that happens at the Kona waterfront can be seen from the lanai. There is whale and dolphin watching, para sailing, submarine touring, kayaking, and surfing all going on at one time or another. In addition many of the cruise ships can be seen at anchor. **Kona Reef Spalling Project Update**The "A" building construction was completed this June 2026. The site project will continue around the rest of the buildings through the Fall. Once completed, the project will shift to parking lot repaving through the rest of the year. There should be no direct disruptions to guests staying at A23. There will be some occasional noise during business hours on weekdays only.
