Herrington Lake Home - Private Dock - Covered Slip

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on Herrington Lake. Private dock with boat slip. Bring your own boat or rent one from Herrington Lake marina. Close to all the marina's. Right in the heart of Bourbon tour country.

Please note: Due to lack of rain in the area, the lake is currently 8ft below summer pool. The steps to the dock end before the walkway on to the dock. Please see pictures.

The space
It is located near the end of a dead-end road. Quiet Lake community. Private dock with covered boat slip. The dock is located in a wake area.

Dock does not have railing, so please have young children wear a life jacket when on the dock. Life jackets are not provided

Clean and neat.We only needed a place to sleep and shower, so we didn’t use much in the house, nor were we able to take advantage of the lake.The only downside was that there wasn’t much hot water for showers.

Very beautiful, clean, well kept place! Greggory is one of the nicest people you’ll meet! Their Dock leading to the Lake is Amazing! We enjoyed our weekend away & would most definitely Love to go back soon!

Nice location to stay when visiting Family in Danville! The boat dock was a short walk across the street and down some steps- not bad at all! The owner was very kind and helpful prior to check-in. We brought our own pontoon boat with us and Pandora launch was one of the best launches we ever used!We will definitely keep this location in mind each summer!

Lake house with family

We booked this property for some family that came in for Thanksgiving from S.C. The property was very clean with all the amenities needed! Communication from host was excellent throughout the process and the views of the lake were beautiful! We will definitely book this residence again if needed in the future

Everything was perfect. Was at first reluctant as I knew it was a doublewide...but do NOT let that keep you from this experience. Great location within a half an hour or less Shaker Village, Devine Farm, Harrodsburg, and other great little towns. We fished off the dock which was just across the road. Fish were caught...a two year old caught his very first fish! It was great! The road to get there is curvy and narrow, but not busy and everyone takes their time, goes slow, and lays over to pass. I cannot say enough about the host and his wife...I sent a text about a large crock pot to see if I needed to bring mine. Answered quickly there was one there. When I walked in kitchen on arrival day, there sat a large crockpot and liners on the counter. There was every kitchen utensil u could name...except a whisk...my hubbies pancakes think they must be touched by a whisk! But seriously, everything u need to cook, plenty of plates and silverware...my sister said even the pullout slept well. Also, concerning host...when we arrived a tree had fallen on the picnic table. There was a lot of debris but we could move the picnic table and did. We all chipped in, picked up debris, moved the limbs we could and I let the host know as a courtesy. Yet the next day he and his wife came to make certain we were okay and had plenty of room. I've stayed a lot of places, this host was friendly, kind, helpful and went above and beyond. I would say the best host we have had thru VRBO! Reviews r true
