We're Heather and Marshall Ulrich. We also own the Everest Lake Lodge (VRBO listing number 588423) where we have been hosts since 2014. We are thrilled to now be able to share our newly remodeled condo in Queens Bay with you, our guests. We owned and remodeled another unit in Queens from 2011-2014 and regretted selling it. So, when we had the opportunity in late 2022 to purchase the first floor unit #133 at Queens we were thrilled. It needed upgrading, so we went all in! Check out the photos and descriptions for more info. We think it turned out beautifully, and think you’ll agree. We trust you will treat our home with the upmost care to keep it in great condition.
Marshall is the ultimate endurance athlete. He’s run more than 130 ultramarathons averaging over 125 miles each, completed 14 expedition-length adventure races, and climbed the Seven Summits, including Mount Everest, all on his first attempts. In the spring of 2022 Marshall and I walked 6 marathons in 6 days along Historic Route 66 as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association and fell in love with the beauty and the history of the place, as well as the people and iconic places along the way. Our walk inspired us to create the Route 66 UltraRun from Seligman to Topock66 Colorado River always starting on November 11, the date the Route was commissioned in 1926. We’ve decorated our home with custom artwork created for our race, as well as other Route 66 memorabilia and southwest and native artwork. Because we direct the race, and we like to enjoy our Arizona home in the winter – the rest of the year we’re in Colorado – we typically block out mid-October through March (sorry fellow snowbirds).

You can walk to numerous restaurants, shopping, the London Bridge, Rotary Park, and the lake/channel/beaches. Queens has a beautiful lobby and gorgeous swimming pool, two hot tubs, and BBQ area.
What makes this property unique
Our home has a huge, shaded and sheltered patio area that walks right out onto the golf course. Enjoy outdoor dining at the table or sit and relax on the l-shaped couch with the added ambience of the electric fireplace. Inside is light and bright! Freshly painted throughout, new kitchen with island seating, three large smart TVs with Wi-Fi included. Power-reclining theater seating and another power recliner in the living room plus entertainment center with gas fireplace. Super-comfy king bed in the primary bedroom and two beds plus seating are in the second bedroom to enjoy privacy to watch TV, read, and relax. New shaker 3-panel frosted glass doors throughout, including a barn door to the guest bathroom and closet doors really class-up the place while providing light and privacy. New ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room, and both bedrooms provide cooling airflow without the need for AC; although AC is definitely provided too! Two updated bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. so you’ll have everything you need.
