Enjoy the sunsets at the Nokomis drum circle on Wednesdays and Saturdays or at the Jetty pier also great spot for spotting dolphins, manatees and fishing, 14 minutes from Caspersen Beach, 14 minutes from Venice Fishing Pier.

For nature lovers, a nice walk or bike ride only 4 minutes away from Laurel Park (Legacy Trail) and for a hike we are only 8 minutes away from Venice Myakka River Park and 11 minutes from Oscar Scherer State Park, 8 minutes from Historic Downtown Venice, 10 minutes from Venice Museum, 3 minutes from Publix (supermarket), 4 minutes from the newly built Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice.

These accommodations were perfect. It is a new, nicely done efficiency apartment in a good neighborhood conveniently located. I had a question before we arrived and received a prompt response. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others as well.

Small five-star apartment

This apartment was small but it had everything that I needed. It was very clean and was very secure. I had no issues at all while here for four weeks. Jesus and his wife were very hospitable and kind. You do hear some footsteps up above but that is to be expected. This is their home as well. Overall, as you can see, I give this place a five star! I am not sure how they could improve on it! I highly recommend this place! This was my first experience with VRBO. I feel that there is a lack of communications between VRBO and the client. I had made the reservation about three months in advance. I received an email originally that the owner had accepted my reservation but from that point all i got was sales emails until a week prior. Perhaps my expectations were off? But, again, that has nothing to do with the owners. They were wonderful! It is more of a VRBO business process adjustment.
