Amazing property! Nicely appointed & well maintained. Had no idea such a serene back yard could be found in suburban LA. It was great sitting outdoors in December getting a tan (temps in high 60s) and feeling like we were @a retreat in Napa. The electric fireplace indoors was a nice touch once the sun set & it got a bit chilly. Despite Hilda the hostess (very sweet lady) occupying the front home, we saw/heard zero of her coming/goings. Can’t wait to return for our next So.Cal LA trip.

This is a wonderful place to stay! There was plenty of space for me, my adult son, and our pet. Our host anticipated everything guests might need and this felt warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked and organized. There is a lovely garden with string lights that come on at night. This made the garden magical.

My daughter and I stayed here for two weeks, and we loved it. The cottage is superb, with a great kitchen and living room, deep bath tub and spacious outdoor hang area. The hosts are excellent

Home Away from Home

From the minute we stepped into the Cottage we felt like we walked into a Home. This place was the best and the Property Manager even better. Best equipped short term stay place I’ve been to. My friend and I enjoyed our stay while taking in the Events near and around Pasadena. Can’t wait to rebook on our next adventure to the area! Thank you, Hilda!

Comfortable home, lovely backyard

We enjoyed our visit especially being able to sit in the backyard (plus there was a private outdoor seating area). Everything was provided. Slightly cold indoors - but it was colder than normal for the time of year.

Our stay at Private Affaire, July 16th thro July 19th.

We were delighted with the overwhelming cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed in a “Home Away From Home” was there. The beds were super comfortable, plenty of closet space, super clean and airy! Bob Marley print in bedroom was a cherry on top!! Really appreciated the washer and dryer. The outdoor space is delightful, lovely sitting areas! The chatty, giant parakeets were delightful entertainment! We enjoyed walking around the pleasant neighborhood. So much to see and do in Pasadena! Our host, Hilda, was a blessing. She was supportive, understanding, flexible and generous during a drastic change of plans. We highly recommend staying in her cozy, quiet cottage! Great location! We will surely plan to return in the future! Sincerely, David and Nora

I love my neighborhood. Lovely well kept homes, friendly and walkable. Close to Downtown Pasadena where shopping and dinning is accessible. The Rose Bowl is nearby for excersise, walking and hiking. First of the month Antique show and concerts, plus sports games .

What makes this property unique

Although one would say Shared Property, which it is...the Cottage featured is located at the back of a large property, which separates and makes it private. It has it's own back yard with plenty of space to enjoy. Beautiful surroundings filled with much greenery, outdoor dinning, a firepit for a cozy nite fire or just sit and enjoy your morning coffee or tea. Plenty of space to entertain yourself and have your furry pet enjoy your own private space.
