Spacious 5BR/4BA/1 level home on 8 acres w/ Stunning Views, Hot Tub & Fire Pit

This expansive 5-bedroom, 3371 sq ft oasis is perfect for your family escape. Centrally located between the awe-inspiring Grandfather Mountain and breathtaking Linville Falls. With its spacious layout, the house provides ample room for everyone to relax and unwind. Featuring a large kitchen and massive owner suite, with a huge living room ideal for gathering and creating lasting memories. With kid-friendly features, this is the perfect destination for a fun-filled vacation for the entire family.

The house has 5 bedrooms with 6 total beds. There are 2 king beds, 2 queen beds and a bunk bed with a twin XL on top and queen on the bottom, so the house is currently set up to sleep 11, plus a pack-n-play for 1 infant/toddler in the extra large master bedroom. We do allow up to 15 people to stay at the house, but please note, if you are planning on staying with more than 11 adults, please plan on bringing additional bedding (inflatable mattress, sleeping bag, etc.) as well as linens/towels. There are plenty of blankets, dishes, seating, etc. needed for 15 people, but for the bed/sleeping situation as well as the towels for beyond 11 people, you will need to bring on your own.

We do allow dogs (up to 2 per our policy) at our home. If there is an excessive clean up needed by our cleaner and we are charged for the extra clean, that will be immediately passed along to the primary renter (on top of the pet fee already included in our final price to book). This extra cleaning fee also applies to feces left in and around the property, so please make sure to pick up after your pet at all times. Also, we request that pets are not allowed on any furniture in the house. Please also keep in mind that the primary renter is responsible for any damages done by the pet, thus we request the pet be crated when alone at the house. Please let us know if you have any additional questions regarding our pet policy.

Also, please note, we do have a relatively steep driveway that is mostly asphalt but parts are gravel. We do our best to have a team out to salt/plow during icy/snowy conditions (mainly January and February, but possible during entire winter), but it is still heavily recommended to have 4WD in the event that they aren't able to get out there immediately. We are not able to issue refunds if you are not able to make it up the driveway.

Lastly, we have 6 security cameras on the outside of the house to make sure conditions are safe for guests at all times, and obviously we do not have any cameras inside the house per VRBO's very strict rules. We can't see the inside the house at all from the outside cameras as we have strategically placed them where we can only see the outside to maintain guests privacy (this includes the hot tub, it is completely out of view from all 6 cameras). The fire pit will be visible from the camera on the hot tub porch, but we typically only view these cameras when we need to check weather or if a neighbor makes a complaint.
