This cozy cabin is a fisherman/outdoorsman's dream getaway. Hat Creek runs through the backside of this beautiful property. Cabin sits in a quiet neighborhood within a short distance to world class fishing such as Pit River, Fall River, Baum Lake, Crystal Lake, Big Lake, Lake Britton. Burney falls is only a 15 minute drive. Pacific Crest Trail, Subway Caves. Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen in close proximity. A one hour drive to Mount Shasta Ski Park for winter fun, including sledding, Ice skating and skiing. Not recommended for little ones, as Hat creek and a rocky ledge are only steps from the backdoor.

Great cabin on a beautiful property

We loved our stay and will definitely be booking again! The cabin is charming, comfortable, and serene with an incredible view of the mountains and water on the lower part of the property. Definitely a peaceful and quiet setting perfect for a getaway.

The cabin has very nice location. Back yard has a creek with peaceful landscape to relax. It is close to Burney fall and Mc Cloud falls so it is convenient for my family to visit the falls. The neigborhood is quiet

Perfect quiet location

This was the perfect location to explore the area and enjoy many peaceful nights. We had wanted to visit Lassen but the Park Fire forced it to close so we drove north to Shasta and enjoyed Lava Beds National Monument as well. The Hat Creek cabin gave us many options and is a great property for family time.

Very nice home. Close to creek for fishing. Last day ehen load the vehicle a geoup of deer showed up on property. 10 point buck literaly eating out of my hand. Great experience

Great property and ideal location

I stayed here with my brother-in-law and our kids, all between the ages of 5-11. The house was perfect for our stay, with all the amenities we needed, and the location was ideal for fishing and exploring. The check in process was seamless. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.

Cozy Cabin Along Hat Creek / Rising River

We chose this property for its proximity to excellent fishing on Hat Creek / Rising River, as well as numerous outdoor activities in the Burney area. After a day of mountain biking or kayaking, it was a cozy and comfortable place to retire to for the day. Amazing views, convient location, comfortable lodging - this place is a must if you're staying in the area.

We were looking for a peaceful, quiet base to explore the area around Burney Falls and Fall River Mills. Jared's cabin more than delivered. Comfortable deck overlooking Hat Creek, very comfortable bed (master bedroom also with a view of the creek), kitchen and home had all the essentials for a perfect stay. Jared was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We plan to return. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Fishing Holdiday!

What can I say? This cabin literally has famous Hat Creek in the backyard! It gives easy access to Baum Lake, lower Hat Creek, Pit River and Burney Falls. The house is clean and well appointed. Layout is perfect for families. We had a great time and hope to come back again!

Awesome Cabin in Hat Creek area

this Cabin is fantastic, I feel lucky to have found it. and grateful that the owner rents it. I have stayed at many places in the area. by far this is the best place to stay. location is outstanding right on world class trout fishing waters, lake and stream. The place just feels great, like a wood cabin should. Great ammenities for comfort. Jared, the host, owner is such a nice person, the check in and out is so easy. We will be staying here alot in the future.
