The slopes of Sunday River Resort are your playground at this elegant, ski-in/out townhouse on the mountainside. Not only will you wake up to beautiful views each morning, you'll have access to shared amenities that include a heated pool, a hot tub, and a community center with foosball.
This three-story townhome sits just down the road from the beginner-level Roadrunner Trail, so you can ski down the mountain to White Cap Lodge (and the White Cap Quad, Little White Cap Quad, and White Head Quad) in minutes. As you come inside, you'll be greeted by cozy living spaces on all three levels - a den for watching movies on the ground floor, a window-lined living room on the main floor, and a loft stocked with board games on the third floor.
The main-floor living area is something special, with walls of windows filling the space with sunlight and mountain vistas. On sparkling summer days, barbecue and sip cold drinks outside on the deck. Come winter, watch movies by the wood-burning fireplace (with logs provided), play a bit of wall Scrabble with your loved ones, or lend a hand by setting the dining room table for dinner. The kitchen is beautifully appointed for all of your needs, offering stainless steel appliances that include both a French-door fridge and a wine fridge.
There's one bedroom on the ground floor, one bedroom on the main floor, and two bedrooms upstairs - all paired with full bathrooms.

We had such an amazing time here. One of the best rentals we’ve had at Sunday River. The townhome is laid out very nicely, clean, plenty of bathrooms, the beds were comfortable and the fireplace kept the living area nice and cozy. Nobody wanted to leave!
We loved our short vacation at the beautiful townhome. It’s very easy to get to the trails and the fact that this unit is pet friendly sealed the deal.
The condo was beautiful- true ski in ski out and very cozy. It had everything we needed and beautiful views. The only negative was the management company- we ran out of firewood and had to flag down the HOA supplier after a day to get more. We were told if we wanted ice we needed to buy it and submit receipts, since the ice maker was broken. We didn’t let that hamper our time. This is a great condo.

Hi, Beth, thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We appreciate our guests' feedback as a means to improve and will consider this feedback to make necessary upgrades. We hope to host you again soon!
They've got everything covered. Super comfortable place for the family to relax and spend some time together. This was our second visit and we're looking forward to going back in February for our third! Love love love it!
We loved your home! Thank you for a lovely stay. There was ample sleeping and bathroom space for two families. Great fireplace, family game area, and kitchen.
We had a wonderful stay at the Apres Chalet. The condo was perfect for two families of four with a great layout, a place for gearing up to ski, and cute decorations and details. It was not ski in or ski out when we first arrived. We got some snow and it became ski out down a hill to a trail but required a hike back up the hill. That won't deter us from staying again!
The kids all said, "Mom, this is the best rental you've ever chosen!" That saids a lot. Spacious, clean, cozy. It's ski out down a hill and hike up that hill on the way back in, but very convenient. If we come back to Sunday River, definitely would want to book this place again!

Close to the Slopes
Being close to the mountain was nice even though we could not ski in / out due to the mountain shutting down the bottom lift.
This beautifully appointed condo was perfect for our multi-generational vacation. The spacious layout and 4 bathrooms allowed for plenty of room for all to be comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to dine in. Games galore and a cozy fireplace were bonus features to this wonderful home.

Wonderful
Plenty of space for two families in this wonderfully updated condo at SR. Access to trails via Roadrunner and not Tempest. Short hike to the condo from the trail but can ski out.
Our stay here was spectacular! The extra firewood came in very handy when we got 3 feet of snow. So did the pool and the sauna up at the clubhouse. The house was extremely clean and very well equipped. It might be pricey, but it is so worth it because of the location and the convenience. We will be back!

Condo is great, Vacasa was horrible
Pros -- condo is modern and clean, exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Cons -- Vacasa (the property manager) was the worst. I think they just have AI bots and it's impossible to get a human. Before booking, I asked about an early check-in and they said they would check two days before the rental, and that it was a possibility (4pm is a little bit on the late side). When I followed up a few times, the AI would always say it was checking, and exactly 6 min later, say that it wasn't possible. I was waiting in the area to get in, and figured I might as well swing by to check. It was clean and ready when I got there at 2:45. I don't think they actually bothered to ask the housekeeping team. At these prices, that seems a common standard of service. And then at check-out, they offered to charge us more to check out after 10am. I know it's a small thing, but being able to have access to human support is important, because things do go wrong. And adjusting the check-in / out time is a something most rental accommodate when possible.Other slight con -- we were lucky to have a good bit of snow when we were there. Snow access was ok but not great. When not plowed, there is a fair amount of hiking to get to the condo. The route we ended up using had a pretty sizable hill to climb in snow boots. There is another path that we think would have been skiable if plowed. Thanks to the owner for keeping such a nice condo! Consider a new property mgmt company!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. We are thrilled to hear that you found our home to be modern, clean, and comfortable, exactly as advertised. It’s always our goal to provide a welcoming environment for our guests. However, we sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced with our communication and support. We understand how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re not getting the assistance you need, especially regarding early check-in and check-out times. Your experience with our automated responses is certainly not the level of service we strive for, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We also understand your concerns about the snow access and the hiking involved. We want to make sure our guests have a smooth experience, and we appreciate your insights on the paths available. We value your input and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future, with an improved experience.
