Welcome to our inviting retreat, a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom haven designed to comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests. One of our special features is a magical fully fenced backyard, offering a safe and private space for outdoor fun and your furry friends. You'll also discover a convenient grilling area, perfect for savoring the flavors of a delicious barbecue, surrounded by plenty of comfortable outdoor seating.

After a day of city exploration, our living room becomes your ideal sanctuary. Sink into the plush sofa and let it cradle you in a cocoon of relaxation. Immerse yourself in your favorite shows on the large screen TV, creating the perfect atmosphere for unwinding and recharging. The warm and inviting ambiance of this space adds to the overall comfort and pleasure of your stay, cocooning you in a sense of tranquility.

Our kitchen is a haven for culinary enthusiasts, boasting top-notch appliances, abundant counter space, and an array of utensils and cookware. This ensures that whipping up meals and snacks is a breeze. Whether you're preparing a quick bite or embarking on a gourmet adventure, this kitchen has everything you need to unleash your inner chef, making your stay even more gratifying.

It is highly recommended that guests have a car or use ride sharing services since Jacksonville's public transportation system leaves a lot to be desired.

We are pet friendly and charge $25 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, we charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you plan to bring a pet when booking with us, please inform us in advance. The fee for pets is non-negotiable for any animal. If you decide to bring a pet, please note the pet rules below:

Pet Rules
 - Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, or in bedrooms.
- Pets must not be left alone in the home unless securely crated.
- Guests must clean up after their pets and remove any excessive pet hair to the best of their ability before check-out.
- Please ensure pets’ paws are clean before entering the house
- Do not use household towels, linens, or bedding for pets.
- Excessive barking or noise that disturbs neighbors is not permitted.
 
(Note that any pet-related damage, including chewing, scratching, stains, or extra cleaning, will result in an additional charge.)

Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1000 fine. A party / event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property or the number of guests booked.

The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):

1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $25
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $50
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $75
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $100 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more

These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.

We have a smart thermostat in this home and do limit temperatures to the following ranges to reduce our environmental impact:

Summer - 70 to 85 degrees F
Winter - 60 to 75 degrees F

***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside the property or in any outdoor areas***

***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***
