Welcome to “Barlow by the Bay“, a stylish 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath townhome ideally located in the heart of Traverse City. With a bright open layout, modern updates, and thoughtful touches throughout, this home is perfect for families or small groups seeking a comfortable stay close to everything TC has to offer — restaurants, shopping, trails, and more.
Please note: Pets are not permitted due to HOA rules. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and no unauthorized parties are allowed to ensure a peaceful neighborhood setting.
☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆ Upstairs, you’ll find three cozy bedrooms designed for rest and relaxation:
- Primary Bedroom: King bed with access to the full bath shared with the main hallway, and a twin rollaway plus Pack ’n Play for added flexibility. - Second Bedroom: Queen bed with soft linens and modern décor. - Third Bedroom: Two twin beds — perfect for kids or friends traveling together.
This home can comfortably accommodate up to 7 adults and/or an infant, a rare commodity in the middle of Traverse City.
☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆ Full Bath (Upstairs): Dual sinks and a separate shower/toilet area, perfect for groups getting ready at the same time.
Half Bath (Main Level): Conveniently located just off of the open living and dining room area, there is a short hallway to the bathroom and access to the below garage.
All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and high-quality essentials.
☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆ Cook with ease in the fully equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops, new stainless-steel appliances, a dishwasher, blender, microwave, crockpot, and a drip coffee station with complimentary coffee and tea.
We’ve also included kids’ bowls, utensils, and a high chair for families traveling with little ones.
The kitchen is located just off the open dining and living area so it’s easy for the cook in your group to whip up tasty meals and not miss any quality time.
☆☆ LIVING ROOM ☆☆ Gather in the open living and dining space filled with natural light and cozy seating. Enjoy your favorite shows on the Smart TV (log in with your own accounts), or have a relaxing game night with our collection of board games, books, and kids’ toys. Large picture windows bring in plenty of sunlight — or close the shades for a perfect movie-night atmosphere!
☆☆ PARKING ☆☆ This townhouse features a basement garage where you may park your vehicle during your stay. You will find a garage door opener on the kitchen counter/island for your use during your stay.
The garage can be accessed via stairs that lead directly into the townhome’s main street level. You may park additional vehicles on the street, please follow all street parking signage.
ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.
☆☆Accidents Happen — We’ve Got You Covered☆☆ We understand that sometimes small accidents happen while traveling. That’s why your booking includes a $250 accidental damage waiver, built directly into your stay.
If something minor gets damaged during your visit, please let us know right away. We’ll take care of it so you can relax and enjoy your trip.
Please note: The waiver applies to accidental damage only and does not cover intentional damage, missing items, rule violations, or excessive mess.

- Check-in/out: Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $50.00, please contact us for further information.
- Longer stays: Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as the fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.
- Payment & Cancellations: Please check the cancellation policy on your booking platform. Please note that even if you are eligible for a full refund and a free cancellation, a credit card processing fee will be deducted. Full payment is taken upon booking.

Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.
Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
Visitors & Noise: No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 7 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
Pets: Due to HOA rules and regulations this property does not allow pets, we appreciate your understanding.
Housekeeping: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.
We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.
Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Very nice place, worked great for family of 5. Was clean and stocked with basics. Very convenient to town and beach. Host was very responsive… had one minor maintenance issue and someone was out to fix it within an hour.

Expected two full baths. It was 1-1-2 bath. The beds were uncomfortable (too firm). Otherwise very nice place. Good location and good instructions. Clean and paper products were sufficient.

This was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and our accommodations were fantastic- clean and spacious. Nice three bedroom condo in great location. Right on the bike trail with three bike shops surrounding it. About a mile walk from Front St and the beach. House had everything you need and a great garage which was good for storing bikes. We had a really good stay.

My girlfriends and I have been visiting TC for many years. This was our first stay in a rental due to our cabin there being sold. This was a perfect spot for our family to spend the weekend. Very clean and comfortable. Property was very clean and organized with everything you would need and very thoughtful amenities (soaps, shampoo, etc. even olive oil and cooking spray!). They even provided treats and bowls and a bed for our dog. Communication was great too. Location was walkable to downtown and several restaurants. Highly recommended!

The condo is well located and very clean. I would suggest that the description of bathrooms be changed in the listing. The listing says that there are 2 bathrooms, but in reality there is 1 full bathroom and 1 half bath. So, it should state 1.5 bathrooms—not 2.

VRBO doesn't have the option to put the numbers for a facility as 1.5 so the closest we can do is 2 bathrooms, and the full description is in the description section.
