The Koser House is perfect for tailgating at the University of Iowa Hawkeye Football games. The Koser House is an upscale tailgate home only 3 blocks from Kinnick Stadium and the University of Iowa Hospital. This Mid Century Modern Masterpiece has been updated for your upscale tailgate and or extended stay. It has 5 bedrooms with 6 beds. The beds are all King & Queen sizes. The Koser House can sleep as many as 12 if there are 2 people in each bed. We have 2 full bathrooms. 1 up staris for the 3 bedrooms up and 1 downstaris for the 2 bedrooms down. There are 2 family rooms and one up and one down with large tvs. The garage and deck create a fun 3rd family room for entertaining all of your tailgating friends.

Location is outstanding and host so responsive and available. Loved the completeness of kitchen amenities and big screen TV. The home was perfect for allowing all three generations of our family to gather and spend an extended weekend comfortably.

Great property for large group and/or several couples/families. Lots of space to hang both inside and outside if the weather permits. Cool garage conversion expanded the indoor/outdoor space. Great location if catching a game at Kinnick and easy to get to downtown IC and surrounding areas. The host was generous and easy to communicate with. Important to note there are two parking spots in the driveway and no street parking. Would definitely book this property again.

Host was very responsive and kind. We were traveling for a funeral. House was great with plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of pillows and soft blankets. Easy to get to main road/restaurants/shops. Close to stadium - could hear event this morning g as we were ch rocking out. Would be ideal for Hawkeye fans in town for a game.

This beautiful home was perfect for us to bring two sets grandparents to come and see their Hawkeye perform in her dance recital at the University of Iowa. The kitchen is well stocked and the home itself is very neatly decorated. Looks like a blast for gameday! We loved being able to stay all together for the weekend!

This was the perfect location for attending a football game. Very close to the stadium, lots of room, and several televisions. Loved Stella's, the bar/restaurant down the street. Manager Brian was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem close to stadium

Great "little" house with so much space and close to the stadium. The house is perfect for a crowd with many spaces to gather, both inside and out. Decor is super cute. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect spot close to Carver

This was the perfect home and location for our large family to have a home base for our Hawkeye’s graduation weekend. The house was very cozy and nicely stocked. Bryan not only made it feel very personalized with freshly stocked coffee/water, notes and welcome baskets, but also stopped by to clear the driveway and deck from tree helicopters for us to host family for lunch after commencement.Would highly recommend this VRBO and hope to stay again for future Hawkeye game!

Stay for wedding

Very clean. Very adequate for our family - 2 children, 1 older teens and 8 adults. I initially was concerned about having only 2 bathrooms, but we managed that very well over the 3 days. We were in Iowa City for a wedding and everyone was happy with our accommodations.

IA City family holiday

Our family group included senior parents, mid age and teens. The house has recently been updated throughout and offered a comfortable setting for our group. There is a lot of well thought out space and amenities packed into this small house. The location is ideal walking distance for IA games and activities. We rented in December and walked to Carver for a game. The driveway is a bit tight for larger vehicles, and careful your vehicle is not on the sidewalk - you might get a ticket. Without a doubt, we would book this little gem again.

Amazing Experience

We just had the pleasure of staying at the Koser House over Thanksgiving. We couldn’t have had a better experience! Upon arrival Bryan called to let us know how to access the door code and to let us know he turned the lights and tv on for us. Once we got there he had a hand written note and candy waiting for us. The house itself is a dream, the location, the amenities, and the cleanliness of the house was perfect. We had a couple little ones so we had to rearrange a little of their furniture and decor but only to make sure they wouldn’t break them! The biggest hit was the basement where we played cards, watched football, and enjoyed having another living space to gather. For our Thanksgiving meal we needed a can open and Bryan and his family dropped one of to us within minutes! We could see the Kinnick from the drive way which was an added bonus since we were also going to the game! We look forward to coming back and staying at the Koser House!!
