We stayed here while visiting our student over Thanksgiving. The space was great and the house was immaculate! We were able to cook a holiday meal and enjoy having family together.

Anniversary Getaway

The Artists Retreat is a great spot. Great location, easy access to the campus and downtown. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and responsive to all requests. We will stay here again.

“Retreat” is the right name!

Lovely property that is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. I loved the art! Location is convenient to great walking sites, grocery stores, and other Athens sites. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Athens.

The location is perfect. It is near downtown. It is tucked away from the noise of downtown so its nice and quite. The neighborhood is nice and so is parking. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect!

Alex and Mers' apartment was fantastic!. We were in town for our kids' swim meet and this place was perfect for our family. The apartment was very clean, decorated beautifully, and it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Alex and Mer were great hosts!

Work Trip to Athens

Hotels near our conference were full, so we found this lovely place to stay for the week. It was wonderful - very clean and comfortable! Excellent communication and parking right in front of the door! Location was super close to downtown and also a Publix (within a couple miles of each!). Would stay here again and highly recommend!!

Awesome Stay!

Our teenager is a junior golfer and we have stayed in LOTS of VRBOs, this was by far our favorite! Super clean, comfy beds, blackout curtains, beautifully decorated. Every detail was well thought out. We loved the Pellegrino and cookies. Alex & Mer are the most thoughtful hosts and we hope to return one day!

A wonderful place!

Everything was perfect! I wanted to move in. The beds were the most comfortable ever! I even asked where they bought the mattresses. I have never slept better! Everything was so clean and beautiful! We will definetely go back again when we need to stay in Athens. Great hosts and Alex always kept in touch with anything I needed.
