Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Centrally-located, with only a short 20 min tree lined drive to Port St Joe, Mexico Beach or Howards Creek and a 10 min drive to Wewahitchka - Gaskin Park Boat Ramp. It's the best location for easy access to both Saltwater and Freshwater.

Park under the carport and step right into the large screened living area with a Florida tropical vibe. On the porch you'll find a high top dining table, tropical plants, and a beautiful view of the large fenced backyard with a 30x30 organic garden . Once inside you'll have full access to a new kitchen, complete with everything to cook a great meal. A comfortable living room with TV/Roku and a full bath with laundry. Up the stairs is the large bedroom with a king bed, full bath and a sitting area.
*Additional Space- there is an additional rental apartment that sleeps 3 with a kitchenette and full bath. This is a separate listing at 'airbnb. com/h/bofb' that you can rent if you are needing extra space. Please note this separate listing could be rented during your stay but is far enough away to not deter from your experience. It is not visible from either the porch or main living areas.

Very comfortable home away from it all, but a nice drive to Port St Joe Beach. Had a minor issue with getting in, but host was contacted and everything was fine. Our dogs loved the big fenced in yard. The kitchen was well stocked for everything you needed to make a meal. Bed was super comfortable. Cozy older home with all the essentials. Quiet neighborhood. Would love to stsy again. Thanks Sherrie!

Great Stay

Wanted to stay in Florida during part of the MidWest Winter. Located a residence on VRBO that met our Criteria. Safe, Clean, Pet Friendly in a Rural area but close enough to the Beach and Big City for occasional short trips. Nothing but good things to say about VRBO and our Host, Sherrie C. We will do this again but for a longer stay. Thank You VRBO and Sherrie C.

Lovely little home in a country setting

We loved our stay here. We came to Wewahitchka to help our son with some home improvements. It was so nice to come to this peaceful place after working so hard all day! We loved the view out front of a big green pasture with cows grazing. Also a huge fenced backyard with a garden. The kitchen was beautifully remodeled with everything we needed. I especially appreciated the nice laundry room! Our host, Sherrie, was great! Kind and very accommodating. We hope to stay there again!

Unique Stay

This is an unusual property in a very rural location, located directly across the road from a field of cows. It has a large backyard and a rambling side porch and is attended by some friendly carpenter bees. Sherrie the owner is also very responsive. There is not a lot to do in Wewahitchka, but St. Joe is only a 20-minute drive and the Chipola River is nearby. I enjoyed my two weeks.

A little unhappy

I am being charged$50 to replace a flower pot that stood (in my opinion) too close to a narrow driveway. Not really happy about that.
