We had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed the space the house had for 2 families. The back porch and the dock were our favorites! Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house that was clean and very welcoming. House has a beautiful view of the lake and a nice dock. The beds and furniture was very comfortable as well. Enjoyed our stay here and will be returning.

The property was even more beautiful than the pictures and in the age of AI editing is impressive. Our family enjoyed every minute playing in the lake and taking in the views off the back porch. We created special memories that will be cherished forever. Communication from the Host was always timely and helpful. The Byers family will be back for summer trips in the future as it is an extremely easy commute from Demorest, Ga as well! Everything a family could ask for with this rental property.

This lakehouse is fantastic and was perfect for my group’s Labor Day weekend getaway. We loved the beautiful lake views and amenities- kayaking, fire pit, game room and porches. We rented a boat for the weekend and were able to dock it at the house overnight- very convenient! The kitchen is well stocked and the living areas very comfortable. We enjoyed coming home to relax after a day on the lake. The owners were communicative and very nice. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation home.

Great location for family travel. Rented a boat nearby & lake is perfect for easy boating. Very comfortable beds & deck viewing is lovely. Note the stairs to dock are many & quite challenging for less mobil so we picked them up at local park dock to boat. Fun fishing lake for little kids.

Our family stayed in this beautiful home for my Granddaughters Fall break. I have always loved the Hiawassee area and this home was in a great location. We have been using VRBO for our vacations for the past three years since my retirement, and this was definitely one of the nicer ones. We had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Our Host Anna was wonderful, and always replied quickly when I contacted her. She even let us come a day early, which was a great surprise for my three precious Granddaughters. It was so great that my daughter and her family had their own space downstairs, and the girls loved the pool table. Due to the unexpected visit from Hurricane Isaias, we were not able to do as much as we wanted outdoors, but we enjoyed some cozy time by the fire inside. We would definitely recommend this home, and would love to come again.

Host was most gracious and responsive. Home was perfectly clean and exactly as pics show. WOW, the view Dock was amazing as we rented pontoon for 4 days. We were a Family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) and more than enough room to spread out. Close to town (mile or 2 at most) for any needed items or dining. kitchen was fully equipped. Even during tornado host was available for direction. Couldn’t ask for better view or vacation home. Will definitely be back!!

We loved this property and location! The house layout was perfect for our group of nine people, including two children. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking great meals and the gas grill was excellent. We brought our boat and the dock provided easy storage and access to gorgeous Lake Chatuge. One of my favorite things was sitting on the porch every morning and evening watching the wildlife—especially the two hedgehogs that live by the lake. This was our first time in the area, but we will definitely be back!

Great Place

The property is in a great location for both hanging on the lake and exploring the surrounding area. The house is large and comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked as well as any place we have ever rented. The owners were great from the time we booked through departure. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Stay at Hiawassee

Couldn't have been better! Anna was super helpful and responsive. The property is beautiful! We rented a pontoon boat and thoroughly enjoyed Lake Chatuge. Great place to stay - highly recommend!
