This home was amazing. Super beautiful. Olga the was very caring and super communicative! Everything was smooth from start to finish. Great views, close to Heavenly.
Host was very welcoming. Sauna was very nice and is a confirmed 10 ish minute walk to stagecoach lift. One note is that 2 of the beds (full and queen) are open to the living spaces although one of them is in an upper level that is not in the foot traffic of the place. Great experience would stay again
Very easy to communicate with hosts. Comfortable house. Only downside was Stagecoach was not an open lift which isn’t in the control of the hosts but made for a different experience than walkable to slopes.
Walking distance from the chair lift at a quiet street. No problem with parking or finding the place. A lot of stairs outside and inside, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. Very clean and spacious house and responsive and friendly hosts.
We loved this place. With three enclosed bedrooms plus two lofts, it’s really ideal for a group of adults or a mix of adults and children. The extra refrigerator/freezer downstairs was a bonus as well as two separate entrances. The kitchenware was the best we’ve had in over ten years of condo rentals. The main room upstairs has a wonderful feeling of space with high ceilings. It has a beautiful tv, and there are additional TVs peppered all over the house including the bunk bed room. The air conditioning was terrific, because they have three different ACs to cover different zones. Most importantly, Olga was a wonderful communicator. She was thoughtful, helpful, and very responsive when we asked questions both before and during our stay. We will definitely come back.
We stayed here for a short extended family ski trip and had plenty of room for our two families to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked though I wish the table was big enough to fit us all at one time (it fits 7 comfortably). There were lots of steps but we expected this from pics and other reviews. It was easy to check in and out. We wound up driving around the loop to the stagecoach lift parking lot rather than walking - which was super easy. Olga was very easy to communicate with as well.
We stayed here with two families of 4 for a ski trip. There was plenty of space, good sleeping arrangements, a fully stocked kitchen, and nice bathrooms. Parking was pretty easy too. They had a nice infrared sauna for the adults and a community hot tub and pool (short drive) that the kids used. The location was conveniently close to the Stagecoach lift. Not walking distance, but an easy drive.Great communication with the owner. The only improvement could be to heat up the house before guests arrive, as it takes a while to get warm in winter. They also have pretty strict rules, which is understandable but can also come across as unfriendly.
Our stay was fantastic at this condo. On our departure there was a large snowstorm which caused travel delays and a lot of traffic. Olga went out of her way to help us navigate the best way out of Tahoe and to give us support as she was concerned about our infants being stuck in the cars for extended periods. She and Josh are wonderful people and their condo was delightful.
We had asked for a late check out. Was told that 3 o’clock would work for the owner. I was then sent a text that I never replied to or confirmed because I did not see it, changing the promise for the late checkout. So now all of our personal items are left outside on the deck. Also heater stopped working and woke up to 57 degrees. Although it seems like they monitor the heater remotely. Bring your own TP., unless you like sandpaper.

Dear Karen,
Thank you very much for visiting lake Tahoe! We apologize for not being able to accommodate your last minute request for later check out time.
It is unfortunate that you missed the communication on 3 different platforms (email, text, vrbo message) that were sent 24 hours before your check out time.
We confirmed with our cleaning crew that at no point your luggage was stored on front deck.
Our cleaning crew also confirmed that your luggage was not stored in secured ski storage. This is an option that we offered to our guests, who would like to enjoy the mountain after check out time if available. It was available and offered to you.
During your stay it was a power outage that required heating system to be restarted manually. The guest control the temperature during their stay. Our guest comfort is of the utmost importance to us.
We wish you safe travels in the future!

Cabin aka Condo
Described as a cabin but this is really a condo.
Pros: Great location very close to town. Home was clean and had a nice warm touch with a handwritten note as we arrived along with some goodies. AC worked good as it was nice to leave windows closed as a lot of traffic is going on throughout the day.
Cons: Be ready to climb stairs with all stuff in and out. A lot of rules and these rules are not told until after you paid all the fees and can't cancel. BBQ doesn't come with propane so we had to go buy propane tanks in order to use BBQ grill. Several of the towels that were provided, were folded in rolls and left wet smelling like chlorine. We were told that laundry detergent was provided for washing and that was not true. Description under amenities says hot tub but there is no hot tub on site but at the communal pool. Sauna is the only thing that is on the site.
Use of oven was very scary, the bottom drawer doesn't close and all the heat is escaping from the bottom when in use and you can see the flames radiating from the bottom drawer.

Thank you for providing thorough information on your stay.
First of all, I would like to apologize for wet towels with a strong odor. While sanitation and having a germ free environment remains a priority, it is completely unacceptable to have a supply of damp towels. I sincerely apologize for that oversight!
Second, we do provide detergent pods. They are located in a marked cup with a sticker “detergent” next to the cup with dishwashing pods. If the detergent cup was empty, we would have provided a refill swiftly to ensure that you have what you need to take care of your laundry. Additionally, our supply of propane tanks is in the outside storage for guests to use. We wish you would have notified us about the missing propane tanks to minimize your frustration and unnecessary expense.
Third, the community pool and hot tub are available for guests to use. It is accurately portrayed on listings photos as well as the stairs leading to two entrances to our home.
In regards to the oven, you are the first guest to mention gas flames radiating from the bottom. This is not normal and may have caused serious injuries and damage. Thankfully you and your party were not injured while operating the stove. We will assess the condition of the oven promptly.
Lastly, house rules are posted under listing description and sent to you in the arrival email.
Thank you again for taking your time to deliver your feedback.
It’s so nice to have such a lovely home owner who’s not only welcoming but extremely communicative and helpful. The home was lovely. Very cozy and well loved. Thank you Olga for decorating for Christmas and leaving such sweet gifts. :)
Thank you Olga and family for opening up your home to our family for the weekend! My family and I headed up to Tahoe for my brothers wedding. Cabin was AMAZING - very spacious for 6 adults and two kiddos. We were extra surprised by the warm welcome with a kind note and a bag of cookies :) Cabin had all of the essentials - extra plus for all of the books and water activities for the kids to play with. Close proximity to downtown, the lake, and lots of trails. Olga was super responsive when we reached out asking about propane for the grill and she responded almost immediately. Highly recommend!
It is a nice cabin within walking distance to the stagecoach lift. All the rooms are renewed and nicely decorated. Just be aware that the road is narrow with slope so make sure that your car /tire is capable when coming here in a snowing day. But all the experiences were ruined because the cabin lost the power and heating for almost two days! The utility company provided highly INACCURATE estimate of recovering time which misled people. We were forced to escape to a hotel room at the Christmas Eve. The landlord is nice to work with and well-communicated. I do recommend to rent from them. But it was a bitter Christmas experiences!

Dear Wei,
About the host
Hosted by Olga Powell
We are busy professionals who appreciate staying in nice places. We have renovated this place for ourselves and are dedicated to maintaining this property as an excellent vacation property.
Why they chose this property
We love skiing! The close proximity to the ski lift was the obvious reason we chose this house. We have discovered the wonderful Tahoe Village community pool and hot tubs - and it is only minutes walk away.We like how close South Lake Tahoe is with lots of shops, restaurants and activities only 10-15 minutes drive away. Our place is peaceful and quiet and truly let's you get away from everything. Heavenly is really is an all-year resort. The resort hosts summer concerts, art shows and festivals. Hiking the mountain in the summer is a great way to see the resort.
What makes this property unique
The main deck looks through Carson Valley and stars at night are simply amazing; it is so peaceful and quiet at night.
