Pine manor is a beautiful Victorian house, built in 1883. We offer 4000 square feet in this one of a kind 5 bedroom home that retains all of its original windows, fixtures, and hardware. The ceilings are high and the windows are large, letting in a wealth of natural light. The first floor includes a large covered porch, spacious parlor room, dining room, kitchen (recently remodeled with brand new appliances), library/study and and two full bathrooms featuring claw foot tubs. Explore, relax and make yourself at home! The second floor offers 5 large bedrooms and another full bath. Drift away and dream of your perfect Portland getaway, high in the trees.
Artistically decorated with eclectic flair, this space features artifacts and collectibles from around the world, adding a unique and vibrant touch to your stay.
Our favorite guests are business travelers, families, and adult friends looking to experience the best Portland has to offer, starting with their accommodations with us here at Pine Manor! We love to host corporate business trips, girl`s weekends, bachelor getaways, wedding parties, convention attendees, traveling nurses, reunions of all kinds. We offer fast internet high speeds up to 250, multiple desks, and a HP Office Jet Pro printer. Great for remote workers.
We love parties, just not in our home. We can host your guests up to 12 maximum. We put our heart into this and wish to host groups who will treat our space with love and care. Thank you for your cooperation :)
Pine Manor guests will have access to first two floors of the house including full access to the kitchen, parlor room, study, dining room and bathroom on the first floor and 5 spacious bedrooms and another bathroom on the second floor. Over 140 years ago when this home was built, Portland was a quaint logging town and river trade gateway. The mode of transportation was horse and buggy. Boy, a lot has changed since then! Portland (or Portlandia) is now known for it`s `weirdness` holding true to the word with its quirky skilled-craftsman type of inhabitants.
We are located in the popular and safe Buckman neighborhood, which includes the southern border of the Hawthorn district. Trendy and hip, and walking distance to most everything including parks.
The central east side of Portland is the heart of this lovely city. There are a great few vegan boutique grocers, micro-breweries, entertainment venues, juice bars, parks, community gardens, rock gyms and yoga studios. There are so many amazing restaurants to experience close by you won`t miss the kitchen one bit.
Portland is known for it`s lush outdoor refuges. Laurelhurst Park is among the most beautiful in the city (20 blocks away) Colonel Summers Park and community garden are less than 10 blocks away. Don`t forget Mt. Tabor Park, just up Hawthorne, for beautiful views of the city!
Portland culture can be explored within the neighborhood at venues such as -
*The Bossanova Ballroom
*Doug Fir Lounge
*Burnside Brewery
*Revolution Hall
*White Owl Social Club
*Helium Comedy Club
*The Goodfoot
* And so many more!
Our central location makes it the perfect stepping off point for all things Portland. There is no need to bring a car because getting around is so very simple!
