About this space El Studio is a 300+ square foot studio in an exquisitely converted adobe outbuilding. It shares a scenic 10-acre property with the main house (Casa Tocaya) and the guest house (La Biblioteca). Surrounded by a stone wall for privacy, it's close enough to the main house to serve as an extra bedroom and far enough away across the driveway that no one feels crowded. The space The Studio is enclosed by a stone wall and that area is private. There’s a front area with a bench, table and chairs. The side yard has a shade structure facing lovely views including Pedernal. There is another bench here and a matching chair. All for studio guests only. In addition, the Studio shares the 10-acre property with the main house Casa Tocaya and the Guesthouse, La Biblioteca. The land is unfenced and wild and stretches to a small arroyo. You can wander the land and local roads also make for lovely walks! Guest access Studio has private patios enclosed by a stone wall. It also shares the 10-acre property with the main house and guesthouse. Other things to note: We have only one close neighbor and she is a lovely person, but we ask that you please don't disturb her! If you plan to bring a pet, please disclose at booking. The dog rules are no pups on furniture and no pups left alone in the house unless kenneled. We used to charge a pet fee, but now I'm trying out a policy where I ask guests with pets to leave a nice tip for my housekeeper. We ask that guests stay reasonably quiet when outside in the evening.

Studio location was in a natural setting, it was well appointed with attention to detail, kitchen well stocked, good heat, nice fireplace and overall warm ambiance. Host was great, very responsive. Would definitely return.
The studio is magical. Comfortable, clean and charming. Love the ambience all around, the bathroom shower and the private outdoor courtyard. The kitchen is complete, the bed is comfortable...the stars at night, the views, it's all good.
Bed was very comfortable and all of the amenities were good. The filtered water tap was broken, but the property manager was quick to provide some bottled water if we needed it. Very responsive. The gas stove/fireplace couldn't be started because batteries were dead in the remote, but the mini-split in the living space did an excellent job of insuring a stable and comfortable temperature. Overall, a charming experience.

I liked this property for attention to detail. This property is well equipped as a studio.
The property is beautiful and Lynn is an outstanding host who was very responsive to my questions. The place was exactly what I wanted as a getaway from the city and a place to rekindle my creative side. The studio was equipped with everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. The only improvement I can think of is having more lighting. I will definitely book with Lynn again.
This is a magical rustic studio w massive vigas, stone and stucco walls, a stone shower, and vintage accent furniture. Approach road is a bit dicey - unpaved and rutted - but view across the valley to the mountains from porch and windows is well worth the adventure. Owner provided clear and detailed directions and almost immediate responses; appreciated both.

This adobe sits amid the most beautiful vistas in Abiquiu area. The artistic intent is evident in the charming adobe, from the hewn wood beams and trim, rock walls and walkway, stone shower, and SW decor. I was looking for solitude and found it here. Very close to O’Keefe museum, Plaza Blanca and Ghost Ranch. On clear nights, the constellations were too many to count as the Milky Way arched over the casita. Perfect for a getaway for 1-2 people. The host was very responsive to questions.
