Relax and take it easy at our updated but cozy waterfront cottage built by Bubba Butler and his father almost 100 Years Ago. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Rappahannock River sunrise and sunset from private dock or balcony. Public boat ramp within 1/2 mi. by water from cottage.

We absolutely loved this river cottage!! It had the perfect amount of space and everything we needed for a weekend away. We loved the proximity to Kilmarnock and Topping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I chose the house because it was on the river and close to Kilmarnock. It was a comfortable house with an antique home vibe. It had all the modern conveniences and like brand new washer and dryer, dishwashing machine, and central air conditioning. The best part was the solitude; pin-drop quiet mornings and evenings.

Urbanna Visit

Lovely, cozy cottage experience on the water! Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on balcony. Quiet residential area with proximity to Urbanna and Saluda. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and privacy. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone! It’s that good.

We found this property to fit our needs perfectly. Close proximity to Urbana, Irvington and Kilmarnock. The older home, on the Rappahannock River had been refurbished for today’s needs but retained some fun, and not so fun quirks! Nothing too serious… the water stream in the shower returned after the system built pressure back up.. Would return.
