The place was clean, quaint and the owners were very nice! I was a little confused on the parking, so i sent a message, and they sent a prompt response!
My family appreciated this home, near Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center for an event! Loved having access to the garage for aecurity and convenience. Very responsive host.
Six of us stayed at this house for one night. There is a garage but very tight quarters for a SUV. Otherwise it’s street parking and can be challenging to find a close, convenient spot. The bedrooms are all on the top floor so be prepared to for stairs, which was no issue for us. It was cleanish. We were wiping off the kitchen island and found a random pill. Probably wouldn’t stay here again because of having larger vehicles and the parking being an issue for us. Also there wasn’t enough sitting in the living room for more than 4 people.
We arrived to a nice welcome gift of chocolates and candies. The place was clean and the location convenient. However, the kitchen is not well stocked for cooking, did not have basics like a can opener or a cookie sheet. Also, the seating at the table and in the living room was not adequate for 6 people, despite there being six sleeping spaces. I would not rent this again.
We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding just outside Beaverton and the location was prime. It’s a great space for a group but it should be noted it’s on 3 levels. The space was clean and well organized but it was missing some key items in the kitchen and the couches are not super comfortable. We had to borrow some items from neighbors for cooking and there are no dressers in any of the rooms for cloth storage. A garage door opener would have been handy for the rental vehicle as well.

Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for your feedback! And we’re glad to hear that our location worked well for your daughter’s wedding!
We’re sorry to hear that some kitchen essentials were missing. If possible could you clarify more what was missing? That will help us provide better service for future guests.
As for the garage door, we've provided door code as the opener could be easy to get lost.
I'll take all these suggestions into consideration and thank you again for your feedback. We hope you’ll give us another opportunity to provide a 5-star stay in the future!

This was really a great place to stay. It was clean and looks just like the pictures that are provided. My only reason for taking stars away is due to the "pet friendly" annotation. Pets are allowed but you can't leave your pets at all at the place. You have to take your pets with you whenever you leave the home. MANY notes were left to make sure we did not leave our pets at the home alone. This affected the plans we had to visit places in Portland since not every store or tourist place is pet friendly. For that reason I would not stay there again with my pets. No issues staying there if I didn't bring my dogs.

We were thankful for all the space! We each had a room & bed & shower/bathroom! Plenty of room & relaxing areas!
We noticed right away no can opener or strainer! We were making spaghetti! The garage is definitely only 1-car parking unless the cars are smaller sedan types! There’s no way to close the garage door when we all leave together so our 11-year old closed the door, ran upstairs, & we picked him up outside front door!
The remote to TV needed batteries so we bought them! Areas seemed “clean” but discovered areas not swept or vacuumed under places! The washer & dryer worked but no directions on how to use soap pods! No kitchen towels available! Beautiful place !

Liza, thanks for your review! I wish we could have chatted more.
The garage door could be closed by simply pressing the button on controller located outside of garage door, so no one needs to run back to the upstairs!
We provide paper towels and oven mitts, but not kitchen towels because I want to avoid washing it together with your bath towels or beddings.
Apparently we did miss can opener, sorry, but we do provide strainer in the cabinet, and the batteries are in the cabinet drawer as well.
I know some wonderful guest don't want to "bother" the host, but as a newer host, I would love hearing from you. It helps me understand your needs and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Thanks again,
Helen
