About this property
Serene family friendly mountain retreat lower level townhome with mtn views
The serene Taos Ski and Mountain Bike home is a quiet 2 acre sanctuary with expansive views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range to the edge of the Rio Grande river. The house is a split level duplex. Each level is fully private. You enter the lower property. You enter into the main room where Taos Mountain can be seen to your left while the Rio Hondo is 1 km in the distance. The Rio Hondo drains the melting snow from the Taos Ski Valley Resort located just 2O minutes up the road. Take in the views from the patio or sit back in the sofa looking out over the property. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a luxuriously comfy queen bed, with the master having french doors that open up to the patio overlooking the stunning view. A full bath at the end of the hallway completes the home with everything you'll need during your stay.
The kitchen has all the amenities and utensils you need to cook a delicious meal, including pots and pans, cookware, dinnerware, flatware, serving ware, drink ware, and linens. Please help yourself to complimentary organic coffee provided for your stay.
The wifi is strong and was trenched to the house so it would be as secure and consistent as possible. When working remotely, you will be able to download documents, stream movies, live events and Zoom.
Taos Ski Valley has been featured in Outside Magazine's 2023 list of Best Places to Visit in the U.S. for Adventure! "Aside from its reputation for driving change, the main reason skiers flock to this resort in northern New Mexico is for the uncrowded, low-key vibe. That and the quick hike to steep chutes off the West Basin, bird’s-eye views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains from atop 12,481-foot Kachina Peak, and the green-chile-stuffed breakfast burritos. . ." Outside Magazine.

The house is serene and quiet on 2 acres. While there is no tv, there is bluetooth/wifi speaker that can play music from your phone and a monitor to plug your computer into. However, people come here to visit for the quiet days and nights as well as go play at the river, ski and ride mtn/gravel bikes.
