We are glad they enjoyed their stay. When they contacted me about the supposedly bugs, I immediately went to the apartment to meet the guests and check the sofa-bed for the bugs. Both guests and I searched carefully and I didn't found any bugs or traces of bugs in the sofa-bed or in any other area of the apartment. This made me think that the "bites" that only one of the 2 guests had, could be from a allergy more than a bite from a bug that we didn't found any (not even mosquitoes) or bites in other places they were during that day. In any case, I gave instructions to the cleaning staff to do a special cleaning of the sofa bed, just in case. We wish them all the best.

After so many years of hosting guests, we still find it difficult to understand when something is not quite right during a stay but we are not informed about it, despite always encouraging our guests to contact us whenever they have any concerns. Unfortunately, in these situations, we sometimes only become aware of the issues after the guest has left, through the review. Regarding the dish soap, we would have been very happy to check this during your stay, as it is not intended to be the same product as the bathroom soap. We could have easily clarified and resolved this for you. Likewise, we would have been happy to replace the soap dispenser if necessary. Regarding the cleaning, had we known that certain areas were not up to your expectations, we would immediately have contacted our cleaning team and asked them to return to the apartment to address those areas. We were also surprised by the comment that “the wall around them was also unfinished.” We are not quite sure what this refers to, as the walls in question are made of natural granite. This is an original feature of the building and one of the elements that gives the apartment its character and charm; they are not unfinished walls. The blinds were professionally installed. However, as they are used frequently by many different guests, they can occasionally be damaged if not handled carefully. Had we been informed about the issue during your stay, we would of course have been happy to arrange a repair. We are always disappointed when a guest leaves with concerns that we could have easily addressed had we been given the opportunity. Our priority is for our guests to have a comfortable stay, and we are always happy to help when something needs attention.
