Q: Is the neighborhood safe? A: Very much so. 24 hours a day. Lincoln Park is considered Chicago's safest neighborhood with many family homes.
Q: PARKING? A: There are always open parking spots right outside on the street. In addition, we also supply parking stickers for zone parking on the street/surrounding streets, but there usually is no enforcement. Not paying for parking in this area of Chicago is a huge plus!
Q: Do I need to bring towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, a hair dryer, or linens? A: Nope! we provide all these things.
Q: When can I check in or check out? A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who check out on the same day of your check-in.
Q: Can I come and go as I please? A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests? A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.
Q: What's my total booking price? A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so we don't actually control this.
Q: Are the beds comfortable? A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on! We like Novaform!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: 1) There are stairs throughout the home (main living/kitchen/dining/master is up a flight of carpeted stairs once entering and the upper-level bedroom and designated workspace is up another set of circular stairs or back staircase). If it’s challenging walking up and down stairs, this may not be the best place for you. A rear, indoor stairwell as well connects all levels.
2) There are CTA tracks behind. This home has no windows on that side where when the train passes, it’s NOT too loud, but you do hear it if paying attention. We have every sleeping space equipped with quality white-noise makers that null out any noise while trying to sleep. Also, all windows have heavy, noise-reducing curtains. We think you will find it to be minor the noise from the train after using noise makers, but we do have to note this. **If you’re a very sensitive sleeper and need it absolutely dead silent, this may not be the place for you.

We had a great time!! Big Ten Tournament Games, St. Patricks Day, and the neighborhood was awesome. Drinks and food right around the corner. The home was clean and spacious. Perfect for our needs.
Great location, perfect for large group with areas to come together but also privacy. New appliances. Comfy bedding. Prompt communication with owners even late night.
This home is the perfect place to stay when you are visiting with family or friends. Easy access to the train station, good shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Very responsive to a late night text concerning the thermostat. Could not have been more helpful and caring.
What a wonderful experience we had. We were a group of 7 girlfriends, some traveling to Chicago for the first time. We have been friends forever, since 1st grade for most, and we wanted a place close to everything but with enough space to catch up. This property was excellent. Townhouse with two apartments that connected in fun and quirky ways. We joked we needed a map... getting to that age lol It was very clean, with enough beds for all, appreciated the multiple bathrooms! The home was well-equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Hosts were very communicative before, during, and after our stay. We loved it and recommend it wholeheartedly!
The Pros:GREAT location in a beautiful neighborhood - easy walk to the both red and brown line train stops, so easy to get around Chicago. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and nice shopping within walking distance. We had no trouble finding parking on the street in front of the units. Very comfortable mattresses! May be buying these for our own homes : )Lock system is easy to work, no worrying about where the keys are. Very spacious common areas for gathering.Having a washer and dryer is a nice perk. Nice kitchens with full size refrigerators and dishwashers. Plenty of hot water so we could all shower with no problems. The Cons:Quirky layout - if you rent both units, you must go through two bedrooms or outside to get to the other unit which can be inconvenient. Lots of stairs and steps in and out of bathrooms. As noted in description, if you have mobility issues, this is not for you!Despite the noise machines, we could hear the trains. It bothered some of us, didn't bother others. Again, as they mentioned, if you are a light sleeper, look elsewhere. We loved our visit to Chicago and would recommend this rental to others with the caveats noted above.
Nicole and Matt are experienced hosts who take pride in making sure guests enjoy their stay. Nicole was raised in a northwest suburb of Chicago and Matt was raised just outside of Madison, Wisconsin. Together they have hosted thousands of stays, and enjoy doing so! Making guests happy, makes them happy:) “We want our guests to get the full Chicago experience while having them come back to a safe, yet immaculate spot. Therefore, all our places are in very safe and well-known areas and the beds are very high-quality along with the other furniture. That’s why the one thing we ask is to please respect our places. When you book with us, please don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations or any questions you or your group may have. We look forward to hosting you:)”
