New Construction completed in August 2011. This beautiful home is nestled in the pines and junipers in Alto Lakes Country Club. Enjoy the huge deck and big windows to view the spectacular mountains and valleys. This is a two story home, master, master bath, living, dining, guest bed and bath, gourmet kitchen, main deck and laundry room are on the first floor. The outside living and dining area on the deck are covered. The second floor has a game/bed room with a puffy futon that makes into a queen size bed and pool table for entertaining and two bedrooms for extra guests. There is a balcony off the game room where you can enjoy more views. You will enjoy easy access in the subdivision and the driveway. You will be 13 miles to Ski Apache (snow ski or snow boarding) and 7 miles from resort town of Ruidoso. You are 10 miles from Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino and Resort. The Ruidoso Winter Park is less than 4 miles away. This home is perfect for short getaways to extended stays. Please call, text or email us with any questions.

Beautiful Views with great accommodations

We rented this home for a month and truly enjoyed our stay, the views and the wildlife are just amazing. The accommodations were great. The owners were very responsive and provided many suggestions of things to do and places to visit while staying in Alto. Highly recommend and would definitely consider renting it again.

Relaxing Getaway

The most relaxing vacation we have taken as a family. The home was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool table upstairs and we loved the recliners downstairs. Can't say enough about the view, it was spectacular. The first floor has amazing windows that show off the gorgeous mountains in the distance. It also had the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Looking forward to our next stay!

Great, premium place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The pictures are representative, but the view from the porch is awesome, so much so that the pictures do not fully do it justice. Communication was terrific with the owners, with quick response and turnaround to any questions we had. This is a premium, luxurious place to stay. The price reflects that, but we found it worth it! The home is very well-appointed and quite comfortable. We will definitely have this at the top of our list of places to stay should we return to the area.

Hitchcock stay

We love Alto/Ruidoso and loved the house. It was clean, fully stocked and ready for our stay. The only negative we had was the traffic. The cars on High Mesa was constant and driving way to fast. Many were construction trucks that going WAY over the speed limit. We love to walk and the traffic made it difficult. Obviously, this has nothing to do with the house or the owners. That was wonderful!

Perfect House

House was exactly as advertised, beautiful home. Nestled inside a golfing community this house easily accommodated our seven adult and five kid family. Kitchen and bar was spacious, game room entertained the kids and deck and patio was perfect for relaxing, and those views!!! Property is well maintained, not run down like other places. Did I mention the heated toilet seat in the master, lol. All kidding aside, wonderful house, will stay here again

Lovely mountain getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful mountain home! The location and views were breathtaking! The home was immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and provided everything we needed to prepare meals. All the amenities in this home were first class! It was a perfect place for our family and friends to gather and have fun in a gorgeous setting. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were very nice and welcoming. We highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a lovely mountain getaway in style and comfort!

Last Minute Booking

We ended up booking 24 hours before our arrival on a super busy weekend and Twiletta was so easy to work with on making sure we had a place upon arrival. The house had everything and was very clean. We will definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

It is the most beautiful scenery, best temperatures and greatest snow skiing within 8 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth!!! We also enjoy golf, pickleball, hiking, shopping, horseback riding, kayaking, the casino and the Ruidoso Winter park. The weather is amazing in the summer, highs in the 70's and 80's and lows in the 50's and 60's.

What makes this property unique

The home is wonderful and the decks are amazing. This is a year round play place. So much to do here!! You can either just sit back and relax or kick it into high gear and play, play, play! Ruidoso and Alto have museums and art galleries. It is only a short trip to Cloudcroft for a fun, quick destination. We also love visiting The White Sands National Park - they have a full moon event each month. The weather is the best - not humid and not hot in the summer!! In the winter you can enjoy easy access to snow skiing. Many times we have skied in the morning and played pickleball or golf in the afternoon. Perfect!!
