Listing said property was on the beach and it was not on the beach and manager was hard to deal with and hard to get in contact with. Also manager was rude when talking with him.
We had a great stay at this property. The owner met us at the airport and showed us around on our first day, and answered lots of questions. The property is clean, and in great condition, it is very comfortable. There is air conditioning, dish washer, laundry, two very nice bathrooms, comfortable furnishings. As noted in the ad, it is NOT on the beach. There is no view. And a downside is some of the neighboring properties are a bit rundown or in disrepair. (Which is common all over Exuma). But none of this was a problem for us, we loved the place and had a great time. The house is right off the main highway on the island, and is a 5 minute drive from a popular beach, is very close to restaurants and stores in Georgetown, &convenient to the airport. The location is smack dab in the middle of the island, so it is very convenient to explore all the way out to Exuma point on one extreme end, all the way down to Tropic of Cancer beach on the other far end (Little Exuma), with every beautiful beach in between. We would spend half the day on one side of the island, stop at home for lunch and the bathroom, then hit the road again and explore the other side. Note: You definitely need to have your own vehicle if you are going to stay at this property. It is not on the beach, nor in easy walking distance to any sights of interest. Driving is a must.
