Charming 19th Century Victorian 4 Bedroom in downtown Webb City!

Named for it's builder, Captain Silas Hemenway, the Hemenway House was once home to the first hospital in Webb City. Built in the late 1800s, this historic Victorian era home has many unique features that are original, including the sliding partition doors and intricate wooden trim throughout. New additions include: remodeled bathrooms and bedrooms, updated kitchen and living area, and new electric fireplace. It also features a unique spiral staircase leading to the third floor suite. With cozy and modern furnishings, this home is perfect for hosting family and friends!

The backyard opens up with a large newly constructed deck and leads out to an expansive entertaining backyard. The area features a stage with aisle, perfect for a ceremony, celebration, or production. Space includes Carthage Limestone and a working pond that is original to the home. An outbuilding attaches to the house with 2 individual bathrooms for any events being hosted.

Property is also available to rent in partnership with the OCH Nexus Event Center (formerly known as Just A Taste Webb City) located on Main Street in Webb City - just two blocks away! This is your answer to an all-inclusive event with minimal travel between event locations for your guests.

Great historic option

The house was wonderful. Quaint, historic, beautiful architecture. Very clean. The area is so-so but close to Joplin where our family is located. We'd definitely stay again.

Three Generations in Historic Webb City.

The home is amazing in so many ways. Victorian home rich in history, great location great for our family to connect . We had one issue, but the awesome hosts fixed the problem and took care of us. Would absolutely book again.

Plenty of room for the whole family to visit. Suggestion- maybe a few bigger bowls for salads, and side dishes. Spatulas, ice maker, We have enjoyed staying at your wonderful home. We will be back! Close to many attractions, we go canoeing every year, framers market so close.

Family gathering

Several family members travelled to visit my sister and niece who live in Joplin. This house in Webb City was perfect for relaxing and having meals together. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to all around.

We were here for Marian Day, and the place is only 15min away. It was in central location near by everything. There’s even a Starbuck 1miles away. Natalie, our host is amazing and very responsive, she made our stay very welcoming. The house is very clean and gives us a homey feel. We love it and would definitely stay again.

The home was beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our family of 7. We also had a gathering of about 15 of of us total for a visit on evening. We all gathered in the living room and were able to relax and enjoy each other's company.

This home was more than we expected. Very clean, puzzles ans games for the family. Our kids loved the spiral steps and we all as a whole just loved how unique and beautiful the home was. Fireplace gives the home a comfy setting. It was very easy to get ahold of owners when needed. We will definitely look into this home when we come to Missouri.

What a charmer!!!!

This property is absolutely charming! Beautifully renovated property came well stocked with everything we needed- including some extra thoughtful touches!!! The layout was perfect with the open first floor to cook and visit with extended family! The number of bathrooms and bedrooms was perfect for our group! Although we didn’t have time to use the backyard, the set up was amazing! We’d definitely stay again and will 100% recommend to others! Thank you soooo much for letting us stay in your house!

Good size for our family trip.

Very nice house, like that the back yard was fenced in for grandkids. Plenty of room for them to play. Would be a nice touch for a normal size table in back room we had 10 people and a few for dinner not enough for adults and older kids to sit. Rug was not tacked down kids and adults tripping on rug. Missing a few kitchen items we could have used as a standard to keep in kitchen. Love the place would highly recommend!!!

A very happy birthday

We rented the home for a surprise 80th birthday party for my husband's mom. Everyone loved the house. We had great grandkids racing in the front yard and the older generation played hacky sack out back. There was plenty of room in the kitchen to prep the lunch and display the cake. Mama loved exploring the home and the little articles about the houses history. She loves old structures. A wonderful place for her party and great memories for all the family.

Our property has so much history! It also has so many beautiful features that are original to the house. The backyard is also a lovely space for a small event! We try to combine cozy, class, and comfort with the convenience of being centrally located.
