Charming 4BR La Punta Villa overlooking Manzanillo Bay with infinity pool

Our home is perfect for up to 3 couples. Each bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom. There is also a smaller 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds and bathroom which is perfect for kids. The infinity pool is right off the living area and overlooks the Manzanillo bay. All rooms have magnificent views and privacy. We have staff available to cook or do laundry. All bedrooms have A/C and the great room is open-air with tile terrace and infinity pool overlooking the bay. This home is perfect and we know you will love it and want to come back!

Charming Getaway

Wonderful home to share with a small (6-8) group of friends and/or family. Meticulous with areas for larger or smaller gatherings. Beautiful view and most important are Sandra and Pedro who provide a warm and inviting environment and delicious food.

A Fantastic Week

Randy and his staff Sandra and Pedro were fantastic through the whole time we were getting ready to arrive and through the week. The Villa is absolutely amazing, relaxing and the views were spectacular. We brought our 3 year old god daughter and her parents with us, and these will be her first formative memories of traveling - and I cant imagine a better place for her to look back.

We loved the house. So beautiful, peaceful, quiet and well maintained. From the moment you step in you will feel at home. We were so we'll taken care of. The food that was prepared for us every day was delicious. The pool always called us into it, the gardens are beautifully maintained and lush. The rooms are spacious and clean. Hidden gem in La Punta

We have been coming to La Punta for several years and have visited four different properties -- Casa Smith is a truly a hidden gem. While we usually travel with larger groups, this vacation was just three couples, and this property was just perfect for a group of our size. Each couple had a very nice bedroom/bath with outdoor space, with pretty views of Manzanillo Bay. The master room included a seating area which easily accommodated all six of us for games and chatting. What a lovely week of pool, drink, food and relaxation! Thanks to owner Randy, house manager Sandra, and houseman Pedro for taking such good care of us! We certainly hope to return to Casa Smith next year.

The architecture of the home was unique, very open and very culturally sound. Great perspective of the Ocean in almost every area and rooms of the villa. I would definitely go again; however, there were two minor recommendations: The King size bed my wife and I slept in(the room above the kitchen was a bit hard), and watch out for huge Spiders and Centipedes, especially when walking around at night. I personally killed one of each. Other than that, great vacation home!

Paradise INDEED!!

This place is amazing!! The pictures truly don't do any justice for this gorgeous house. It is more impressive in person than in pictures and very amazing-the location of the house, the house itself and the staff. Very clean, culturally rich, and safe (extremely safe neighborhood). We loved the pool inside the house which contains a breathtaking view of the ocean, and the private beach this little community has is beautiful. There is security at the entrance of the community as well as at the beach. If you walk through the neighborhood you will realize that not only are the houses a piece of art, but the roads are as well, and not to mention all the beautiful landscaping in each and every house, including this one. You'll go home with lots of fresh ideas for your own house! It was truly an amazing experience, not only was the house breathtaking, but staff is as well. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and they are just sweethearts. This house truly is a treasure.

Our seven day stay at Casa Smith was amazing. Both Sandra and Pedro couldn’t have treated us better, Sandra out did herself, an amazing cook. The beds were comfy and clean. The pool was also an amazing part of our stay as was the private beach. Use of the Durango was great as you are quite a distance from stores etc. Thanks again Randy

Wonderful family summer getaway in beautiful La Punta, Manzanillo!

Our family (8 adults) just got back from an awesome family vacation in Manzanillo- Casa Smith was absolutely gorgeous and better than we had envisioned! Randy was extremely helpful with some pre-trip planning and provided an abundance of information on local eateries, fishing, transportation to and from the airport and a whole lot more. One of the best of many things about our trip was how well Sandra and Pedro took care of us, the meals and the house! We had a five star authentic Mexican meal waiting for us as we arrived from the airport. The house as already mentioned above was outstanding with unbelievable views from every area of the 2-story villa. Each of the 4 rooms had great air conditioning which was a must this time of year. The pool was fabulous and Pedro cleaned it every morning. Every morning we had the luxury and privilege of waking up to a delicious hot breakfast cooked by Sandra- she was wonderful cooking breakfast and a lunch or snack each day. She also is available to stay and cook dinner if you like for a small extra fee- she even did a lot of our grocery shopping throughout. She took care of everything and made it such a relaxing time for all of us. We can't say enough good things about how great our stay at Casa Smith was. We had a couple days of rain but the rest of the time was almost perfect. We ended the trip with a great day of deep sea fishing with Freddy on the Double Trouble II and caught a large Sail Fish and were able to enjoy it at a gourmet meal prepared by the Pacifica Del Mar on the beach later that night. Truly phenomenal family trip thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! Joe E.

The house is beyond perfect. We loved the open concept with four separate comfortable bedrooms.

We can't stop talking to all our friends about this trip and especially our accommodations. We no longer feel the need to return to the Four Seasons in Punta Mita. We loved la Punta. The private beach that was clean and safe to swim in was perfect. Sandra, the house keeper/cook, makes renting a house superior to any hotel. Sandra makes a wonderful ceviche for lunch and a flan for dessert that should not be missed. Both Sandra and Pedro made our stay more than enjoyable. They suggested Dani Tours and we had the most fun exploring Manzanillo. Daniel speaks fluent English. He took us all on an amazing tour around Colima. We can't wait to go again. Thanks Randy for opening up your home to us!

Christmas 2016 at Villa Smith!

From our pickup at the darling airport to our drop off at the end of our stay, our experience with Casa Smith in La Punta was amazing! Our family of 3 was in dire need of REST! The Villa and staff allowed us to do just that. Sandra and Pedro were so efficient and yet it was like they were not there. They gave us such privacy! Sandra's cooking was yummy - we overate I'm afraid. She and Pedro took care of every need we had. They both went overboard in their friendliness and helpfulness. The Villa was far larger than we expected, and very comfortable. The view was out of this world with the infinity pool stretching out to the bay waters. We slept better than babies in the beautiful beds and even enjoyed some TV. The restaurants that were recommended were right up our ally. We tried several and were not disappointed. We used the recommended transportation company and were very pleased with the drivers. They were very helpful and made sure we were taken care of at every place they took us. Absolutely amazing vacation at Casa Smith!

From the moment that we entered La Punta, I knew that we were in for a treat. The drive up to Casa Smith was beautiful as you can see the ocean, mountains and the beautiful houses all around the coast. Once we entered the house, I was so impressed with the openness, the privacy, the pool, the beautiful bedrooms, just everything that screamed RELAX. We stayed for a week and enjoyed Sandra's amazing breakfast and lunches (she is the best cook in Mexico!), the Marina restaurants, the private beach, jet skis, snorkling tour, other amazing restaurants outside of the community, Kali Spa and a shopping tour of the area. Most vacations are full of things to do and we spend most of our time relaxing and enjoying the house! We will for sure be returning to Casa Smith. It's the most romantic place I have ever been and will always hold a special place in my heart! Thanks Randy for a lovely stay!

An Amazing Trip to Remember

This was an amazing trip and I plan to return. The pictures are exactly as what you will see when you arrive at the Casa Smith. The open air home is awesome, always a breeze coming through and the pool was so inviting. This was a girl trip and it was amazing, plenty of room so that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Only a short drive to the beach, shopping and dining. We shopped for the food we wanted prepared for breakfast and lunch, and it was prepared for us by house staff.....it was great! We dined out in the evening at various places. Las Hadas Marina has four restaurants and we went into town to Pacifica for dinner one evening, which is down on the beach with a great view and staff were so attentive, but not overly where it is bothersome. Oh my goodness, don't let me forget to mention Offshore Fishing, 4 of us went fishing on a charter out of Las Hadas Marina and we caught 2 Marlin, this was a lot of fun! You won't be disappointed in your stay at this home.

DISCOVER THIS GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR NEXT VACATION!

We only wish we could have spent more time in this lovely, relaxing place. Though cool in the evenings, we had plenty of sun for the private beach just minutes away inside the La Punta gated community, plus our own pool at the Casa. Sandra and Pedro took great care of us every day, as we tuned up our broken Spanish from college days long ago, and Pedro frequently translated for us. We really enjoyed the private beach and other local attractions nearby. Though we didn't get to play golf (just too busy), there is a course nearby run by the Las Hadas hotel, and a couple others about 20 minutes away in the mountains. (Golf will be included on our next trip). The pictures here don't lie. Casa Smith is all it looks like in the photos and more! Comfortable, very quiet and private, a beauty to look at inside and out, and it offers unbelievable views of the Pacific Ocean's Manzanillo Bay from the open air living room or deck. We took the boat for a tour of the Bay area with a little snorkeling, and we sampled several recommend restaurants outside La Punta Villa area during our five-day stay. Try Pacifica for sure – a few blocks away in Manzanillo, right on the beach, delicious food by a gifted chef, plus great service, and not terribly expensive. We highly recommend restaurants written up in the guest book, including some very nice options at the Las Hadas Marina, just a short drive from the Casa. Our last night was a dinner at the Marina, moon rising through palm trees across the water. Very nice. Manzanillo is a bustling city with lots of shopping and local color. If you rent a car, you won't have much trouble adjusting to local driving, and you can venture out a little from the city. Or, you may just want to hang out at the Casa with a good book with a bottle of red or white or a margarita in hand. We asked Sandra to cook a seafood luncheon for us one day, so she did the shopping and prepared a delicious meal on the open air patio for my birthday. Though our stay was short, it was a very special time for us. We highly recommend it.

one month in paradise

For years we rent houses worldwide.Casa Smith is not the largest or most luxurious but it has some unique thing ,a human dimension enveloping.It is very confortable for 6 people.The rooms are very spacious and has super comfy beds. From each rooms you have beautiful views on blue Pacific ocean. The most important quality of this home is the warm welcome ,the kindness and generosity of Sandra and Pedro who are there six days a week to facilitate our daily. Thank's a lot to the owner for his prompt attention and positive listening and open mind. La Punta is a true botanical garden and a paradise for walking,tennis,golf and lovely private beach. Finally ,life is beautiful in Manzanillo.

Amazing Christmas and New Year's!

The house is amazing and has everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Sandra and Pedro were such a great addition to our stay. Total Relaxation

We live in Texas and our parents, Wayne and Annette built this home and lived there about 6-9 months out of the year. My dad passed away in 2013 and my mom in 2016.

Why they chose this property

Our home is very quaint and charming. Some of the surrounding homes in La Punta are very large with more bedrooms and more expensive to rent because of the size. Our home is perfect for up to 3 couples with 3 master bedrooms and bathrooms and 3 king beds and by far the best value for a smaller group or family. Each has a magnificent view and it's own balcony. Each bedroom has it's own A/C unit and the living area is open-air with an infinity pool right off the living area overlooking the Manzanillo bay. Our home is by far the best value for 1 to 3 couples in La Punta. It does have 1 more bedroom/ bath with 2 twin beds that is perfect for kids or help. We have 2 staff that clean, and wash linens M-Sa. Cooking is available at an additional minimal charge per meal.
