From the gated entry to the cobblestone drive, around the bend awaits the perfect blend of Mexican architecture and contemporary decor in a stunning quad level 9,000 sq. foot open-air villa.

The master suite, is completely private on the second level with expansive views surrounded by glass doors and a wrap around terrace and balcony to enjoy magnificent sunsets.

The first guest suite in the main house, can sleep 2-4 people in two queen beds, has a large furnished balcony with expansive bay views and a grand Mango tree within arm`s reach!

The second guest suite on the lowest level can also sleep 2-4 guests in two queen beds. The balcony is very spacious and furnished with great views of Santiago Bay.

There is a separate apartment suite, `La Casita` with private entrance from the street level and partial view, it has a small living area and kitchenette with cook top and mini fridge, the bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, closet, and small bathroom with shower. Air conditioning is available in all enclosed areas.

If service is what you are striving for, the home is fully staffed including a full time chef.

From impeccable cleaning service, to full service laundry for normal washables, and even turn down service, your stay will not be forgotten.

The kitchen is fully equipped, from both coastal and regional cuisine, the chef will leave you wondering what possibly lies ahead for the next meal as he prepares signature dishes unique to this home.

This upscale gated community has its own private beach, club house and tennis club, the renowned Las Hadas Golf and Marina Resort located a stroll down from La Punta offers golfing, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shopping and a full service marina.

This upscale gated community has its own private beach, club house and tennis club for the exclusive use of guests. The renowned Las Hadas Golf and Marina Resort located a stroll down from La Punta offers golfing, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shopping and a full service marina.

The focal point of the entire home rests beneath the large furnished palapa that can seat 12-15 for outdoor dining. It is equipped with comfortable lounge furniture and tables, outdoor beverage cooler, ceiling fan, and Bose speakers.

Adjacent to the palapa is a large, heated, infinity edge pool with swim up bar and four chaise loungers. The seventh bathroom is located just steps below the palapa complete with a changing room and shower.

If you leave the cottage and continue the stroll on the lighted stairway down the hillside, you will arrive at a beautiful built in lounge rest area complete with cocktail table for sunset views.

Just below this area is the second palapa situated on the rocky cliff just above the water. Enjoy the two chaise loungers or hammock as you hear the crashing waves against the rocks.

Exquisite staff, house and views.

from the gold and pink sunsets, to the authentic and unique food, I really don't know where to begin. From the moment we landed at the airport, we were shown a good time. The house is beautiful and trickles down a cliff. The bedrooms are all more than enough room for anything you might bring. We spent seven days there and made some new friends for life with Hector and his staff. If I could go there tomorrow, I would but it's already booked 😃

Paradise

We enjoyed this home so much that we have already booked next year for July 4th, 2016! Everything from the minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty from the staff.. We were greeted with cool towels and margaritas!! As we all (14) settled into our rooms, we then were called to an AMAZING first dinner!! The week continues with them cooking the most amazing foods, from steaks and Mexican food, to the best seafood I have ever tasted! The view from the pool is just amazing.. The view from just about anywhere in this home is amazing! As the week went on, we did some fishing were we caught tuna and 2 of us caught sailfish!! We also enjoyed a great day zip lining and were fed the best pizza in Mexico! We can't leave out Luis, the best driver ever.. He was always happy to see us and put up with all our shopping trips!! We can't wait to see Hector and his staff again! Oh shoot.. I forgot to mention the sunset cruise that they offer... It's a MUST!! Love love love this place!!

Amazing!!! Staff, views, amenities!

This is an amazing place. The location is outstanding! The views are breathtaking. The property is very well maintained. The staff is amazing. You never have to lift a finger. I would rank the chef right up there with the best of the best. We have been twice and can't wait to plan our next trip.

Amazing beautiful relaxing

this home has such a beautiful amazing view has fabulous bedrooms the staff are amazing Hector the chef prepares wonderful dishes and will prepare anything you ask Mode and Patti makes sure rooms are ways clean and even wash clothes they are there to make sure the guest have everything they need I can tell you that we love this place and the staff that we just returned from our fourth visit. We are planning on going back next year You won't regret going to this beautiful for a vacation. They will arrange excursions this last time our group went ATV riding our tour guide was so much fun. I could go on and on about Casa Dos Palapas and the staff this is definitely a five star stay

Best Vacation....EVER!

My husband and I just returned from the most fabulous vacation we have ever had! We traveled with friends for the week for fishing and relaxation. The house, the views, the staff....INCREDIBLE! Hecor and his wife, Modesta (Modi), could not have been more accomodating during our stay. They made us feel so welcome and taken care of....we didn't want to leave them! The food was delicious and Hector delivered on the fact that he could make anything, and it would be the best ever! We can't wait to return!

A Week in Paradise with Friends

We just returned from a week in paradise with a group of 8 friends (1/8/12 -1/14/12). This place is simply amazing the property is clean and safe. We chose to hire a driver, Arturo, who picked us up from the airport and drove us to all of our destinations. The staff was wonderful! Hector is an amazing chef who's food would rival any 5 star resort. Modesta, Patty and Hector Jr. provided the best care to our group. I would recommend this house to everyone. It is a relaxing oasis and you can leave all your cares behind. It was very difficult to leave and return back to reality. Thanks once again to Aurtro, Hector, Modesta, Hector Jr., and Patty you made our stay fantasic and we truly apperciate your exceptional level of care.

Great family vacation with young children

We just returned from a family vacation (12-25 thru 1-1) with our two children (ages 2 and 5) and our extended family. This was one of the best vacations ever. From the moment we arrived form the States, everything was exceptional. We were met at the airport by Cesar, who took us to the home. His English was perfect. The room we stayed in--The Casita Suite--worked well for our mini-family of 4. The staff--Hector, Modesta, and Patty--could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Hector is fantastic chef--his meals were healthy, bountiful and beautiful to look at it. La Punta is a great community. We played tennis everyday and the tennis pro, Salvator is as good, if not better, than any pro at an US tennis resort.

Outstanding villa and staff

Our party was at Casa Dos Palapas in January of 2010. I have been remiss in not posting a review. The house is amazing, clean, well furnished and in a beautiful location. The staff had drinks on our arrival and each evening made margaritas.. the food was 5 star quality and the 8 of us each had a great bedroom and bath and were royally taken care of. You will not be disappointed and this villa and the people who attend to you are first class.

Best Girls Trip Ever

"Myself and 15 of my girlfriends had the pleasure and wonderful opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful places in Mexico-"Manzanillo", June 2010. Cas Dos Palapas was an oasis of pure delight and satisfaction. The security and area of the home made us feel safe at all times, absolutely no worries at all. From our amazing drivers, Daniel, Roberto and Alejandro to the most amazing house staff one could ever ask for(Hector and his beautiful family) made this trip a memory that will last forever. Our every need was met and more. The food, we can't talk enough about our eating experience. They delighted us with everything on the menu we ordered and more. It was hard to go back to the real life-haha. The home sets above the ocean with the infinity pool, that we used to it's fullest extent. The Palapas eating/gathering area was perfect and we even used as a dance floor. Looking out at the sunsets each night, magical. Our drivers took us into town for shopping and authentic restaurants that really showed us the culture of Manzanillo. We took a fishing/boating trip, and they took very good care of us as well. Honestly, my girlfriends and I have traveled to many places and this tops it for sure. The house, the food, the beauty is something everyone should experience. Hector and his family truly were there to take care of us and cannot thank them enough. We are already planning our return trip and Casa Dos Palapas will be our only destination in Manzanillo. Hello Nelly:I want to thank you for all your help and arrangements for our stay in Casa Dos Palapas,the property is spectacular and the weather was beautiful, everything was as promised or better.The villa was perfect and very comfortable, the outstanding service from Hector and Modesta made our trip very relaxing and care-free, Hector is an excellent chef, our waistlines have expanded, but it was worth it.We are already spreading the word about “The best kept secret”, .Manzanillo indeed isquite different, very laid back and unspoiled. Somewhat influenced by the media,we were little concerned about safety, however the minute we arrived, we totally forgotabout all the travel warnings as we started interacting with the people from the town, we even noticed that at La Punta, many people don’t lock doors.I have forwarded your e-mail to my sister who is looking into getting married in Mexico,I think that Casa Dos Palapas would be a great place.Koki ReasonsRancho Santa Fe, Ca.

Hi Nelly: I was just about to e-mail you, and there you are...our stay in Manzanillo was wonderful, Casa Dos Palapas is beautiful and La Punta was all we could have hoped for, it is in such a beautiful location, One day we saw humpback whales right off the terrace....amazing ! This was our first time in Manzanillo, we loved the laid back atmosphere and the hospitality of its people, contrary to all the travel warnings to Mexico, we felt so relaxed and safe that we were never concerned and even enjoyed driving outside of Manzanillo to the beautiful El Tamarindo Resort, Isla Navidad and the picturesque town of Comala. The staff does a great job, Hector is a great chef and Modesta kept the house always neat and clean, best of all they were very respectful of our privacy keeping themselves "behind the scenes" but at the same time always attentive to our needs. Thank you for all your suggestions, we have finally found out why Manzanillo is called the best kept secret. Lucy
