Very nice, clean and cozy home to stay in! It was great for a group of friends to stay together for the weekend! We felt right at home and comfortable in Grandma’s home!
The home has a cottage vibe, very clean and has a ton of charm. The outdoor property is fantastic. The host was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay again.
We will always stay here anytime we visit TC. So close to everything and a great host! Really easy to communicate with and so flexible. Everything you could need and more.
Great location close to down town but still secluded. We enjoyed the horse shoes in the yard and the fire pit area. Plenty of space inside for our family of 5 to rest and relax!
Great location. Close to everything but not in the busiest parts which I appreciate as I’m looking to get away from that when I head up north. Quiet and wooded. Would stay here again.
This property is called grandmas house and it does not disappoint. Everything is cute and vintage but super comfortable. Great spaces for hanging out and enough beds to have a group. Back yard was perfect for the pups and location is close enough to town to be convenient! Would recommend to anyone
Great house, very cozy for our family of five plus dog. House has everything we needed to cook our own meals and is not far from town. Tons of books, puzzles, and other games for around there. Close enough to town to easily do things, but far enough to be quiet. Tim was a great host. Very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Would stay again!
Host communicated early and provided necessary info for the home. We were also surprised with a grocery bag full of items for a complimentary breakfast. The house is older and needs a few updates but was clean and spacious. Kitchen missing aluminum foil for cooking but all necessary pans, baking sheets and plates/utensils were there. We were there in the the winter so not able to enjoy the deck or check out any trails.
This cozy country home near Traverse City was the perfect mix of peaceful and convenient. It felt like visiting Grandma’s place. Quiet, charming, and full of comfort. We loved the spacious yard and private patio. Despite the quiet setting, we were just minutes from downtown, beaches, wineries, and restaurants. Inside was clean and thoughtfully stocked, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was kind, responsive. We would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for a weekend while we attended a wedding. Super close to downtown and the venue. But far enough from everything to enjoy the quiet of up north.
Perfect for our family over a long weekend. The outdoor deck and grill were great. The host left breakfast in the refrigerator to get us started (appreciated). Too bad we didn't get a chance to have the fire, it looked great. The tv had the sports channels we wanted. Good location. Host is very good with communication and the property is as described. There were books, games, and the view from the kitchen table out the picture windows was peaceful!
Our stay at Grandma's house was as nice as you could ask for.TIm, our host, was super friendly, unobtrusive per our wishes, but readily available if needed. Comfy beds, comfy living areas, nice yard and deck. Tucked into the woods so it was peaceful and quiet.Very close to town but with a rural feel to go with it.The house was well stocked with linens, games, kitchen essentials--whatever you might need. We were even provided with bacon, toast, and eggs in the fridge for our first morning's breakfast: that was a nice touch! Thanks for making your family home available to us, Tim!
Perfect location to explore TC and surrounding area
First the owners were very responsive in answering some questions we had before booking, and in making us feel welcomed. The location was convenient to get into TC or anywhere on the peninsula. The home looks just like in the pictures and is very tidy. Cozy living room, comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of seating areas inside and out. Grandma’s home was perfect for our group of six. We had a fantastic stay!

So happy you had a great visit. Thanks so much for respecting our home and leaving it so clean. You were literally our first guest. Thanks for the rave review. We’d love to welcome you back.
The house is old, but functional. The property is wonderful. Loved walking in the woods with our dog. Tim was friendly and very helpful. He left us milk and muffins for breakfast. 😀

Thanks Jennifer, glad you enjoyed the property. We’ll continue to update and renovate. I plan to step up the outdoor recreation possibilities with more yard games and more parks and gardens. Come back and see us
The house was as expected based on the description and reviews, and it met our needs. It was fairly outdated and smelled a little musty, but it was clean. In particular, the bathroom was somewhat updated and very clean which was appreciated. The outside areas were great and spacious. The host was super nice and helpful and very responsive.
