Beautiful Lake Views in this 2 story Chalet with Boat Slip!

Beautiful Views, Best Location and Great Fun are found in this three bedroom and two bath Lake and Play House. Best part of the lake for views, boating and all boating activities (by dam). You are literally on the lake when you step out the back door onto the two story dock. We do have a boat lift and cradle for your use. There are amazing sunrises but the hot evening sun is over the hillside so the deck is shaded in the late afternoon. You will be 10 miles from the Historic Granbury Square and 15 miles to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose. The private Pecan Golf course is only 3 miles away, while the challenging Squaw Valley golf course in Glen Rose is 9 miles away. This 2 story on the water home is perfect for short getaways to extended stays. Please email, call or text us with any questions. We do have surveillance cameras on the front drive and back decks.

Beautiful, roomy condo in great lakefront location.

Property had great sleeping arrangements, was extremely comfortable and clean and had beautiful lakefront dock. Property manager was very responsive and access and parking were easy and convenient.

Great views and quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay here. House was clean and owner responded to any questions we had in a timely manner. It was a nice quiet neighborhood which was perfect for the relaxing get away our family wanted. View of the lake is great and the patio is shaded in the afternoons once the sun starts to go down.

Great deck and view of the water

The property is right on the water with a great view. My husband liked the covered dock for fishing. The deck was spacious right on the water. There was plenty space, dishes, etc. for two adults, two teenage boys, and our dog. It could have accomodated more, particularly with the outside space. While it seemed far from town on the map, it was quick enough to get to town, and there is store not too far that is well-stocked.

Fun weekend

The house was the perfect weekend getaway before school started. The adults enjoyed the deck and the kids enjoyed the lower deck for swimming, floating and fishing. We caught a couple of catfish. Property is exactly as shown. We grilled and cooked in and had the house had the basics needed. Make sure to take extra blankets, linens and pillows for the pullouts. Thank you!

Right on the lake

The property is right on the lake as advertised (too bad the weather was not better while we were there), but I we felt the listing was a little misreading in regards to the beds. the downstairs bedroom had three single beds. A queen and a single would have been much better for two couples. The house also had some maintenance issues - the doors stick (the downstairs bedroom door didn't close), the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom has bubbled and looks as though it as a water leak, the outside light is only half attached. It also could have been better stocked - one coffee filter for two days? one dish towel? no bath mat? Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a good time.

Relaxing

Very nice relaxing stay. Trip was with our adult children and their spouses. 7 of us total plus pets. Dogs were slightly challenging. We didn’t realize the yard is technically not “fenced” so be aware they will need to be on a leash to potty outside. Also the main deck where we spent most of our time was not completely enclosed. We had to block the area so the dogs would stay with us. Would suggest to others to bring an adjustable baby gate. That would have been a perfect fix. Or the neighbors beside us had their dog on an extra long leash that stayed attached to their wrist the whole time they were outside. So there are options. The multiple level decks were great. Our guys loved fishing on the bottom deck. And even when it was rained we could still be outside. It was super hot outside but the house was nice and cool. Good nights rest.

Perfect Weekend on the Lake

We were looking for a Lake House with a boat slip to take full advantage of our Wakeboard Boat before our oldest left for his first year of college. This cabin met all of our needs, plus some. Really enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck with a magnificent view and was nice to be able to lift our 21 foot boat out of the water between trips.

Lakeview relaxation

This little home on the water is set up perfectly for what we were hoping for. The location is just a short boat ride from the dam with the most beautiful sunrise view right from the upper deck. Nothing like watching the Sun come up while you sip your coffee. The deck material was brand new composite material and was so nice,! The fact that the dock has an open slip with boat lift was perfect. Allowed us to keep the boat handy for a sunset cruise if we wanted. This place was perfectly comfortable and the host was very responsive to everything we needed. I highly recommend this property!

Great Lake house rental

Overall perfect for our family of 4 weekend getaway. The parking area, street, and closeness of neighbors were a tight squeeze but it did not take away the nice view and amenities this rental has.

Very basic

We stay in a lot of vacation rentals, and this was the most basic one we’ve seen. For the price, it was average to below average. For the extremely high security deposit, it was very disappointing because the house is so outdated. But the view was great. We felt safe. Neighbors were quiet 2 out of three nights.
