Lion View ~ Otsego Lake ~ Sleeps up to 10

Located 10 miles (about a 15 minute drive) from Dreams Park, and 35 minutes from All-Star Village.

Lion View is a beautiful property set on a hillside looking over Otsego Lake. Awake to glorious sunrises and full sun all day on your expansive upper deck. Prefer a little shelter from the sun? Head down to the covered deck below where you can still enjoy the fantastic views in full shade.

This unique space offers an ideal arrangement for two families who would like to be together, yet have separate quarters, or a girl's get-away, guy's golf weekend, group leaf peeping, Opera-goer's weekend, you name it, it works!

Upstairs are two bedrooms ~ a large primary room with a queen bed and a smaller room with bunk beds, living room, full kitchen, dining area, and full bath. There is a TV in the living room and primary bedroom offering basic cable as well as streaming services. Two sliding doors open to the immense deck where you'll find a bar area and stools for outdoor dining, a gas grill, and outdoor sofa seating.

The lower level is a walk out unit with one king bedroom, kitchenette, full bath and living space with a huge smart TV. A comfy wicker sofa, and cool globe chair (enjoyed by adults and kids alike!), and lake themed decor make this sweet space really special! There is also a trundle bed in the common area which is perfect for the kiddos. Two sets of sliding doors lead out to the covered deck on this level. A common stairway connects the two units to each other and to the shared laundry area. Simply leave the door open between the two units to allow for easy access and flow.

The property is well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped. A new generator ensures no power outages during your stay. Ample parking for up to 4 vehicles is located above the property and a handy ramp allows for upper level access ~ no stairs required!

This is a wonderful home to hang you hat in for your Cooperstown stay!

**Please note, there is no direct lake access from this home. The lake views are spectacular! There are two public beaches...Three Mile Point which is 2.5 miles south (towards the village) from here, and a larger beach and swimming area at Glimmerglass State Park. Both beaches have lifeguards on duty. **There is a tenant who lives above the garage. She is quiet and keeps to herself. The garage is detached from the house and the tenant parks in the driveway below the garage.**

Great house, great views. Secluded and peaceful, yet close to anything you might need. If you get there at night, it can be confusing to find, but that’s a choice! Owner instructions make it easy if you do what they tell you to do. Really beautiful place with multiple decks and great sky/star views too. Highly recommend.

Family trip

We stayed in this home with 8 family members ranging in age from 15-78. It was a comfortable home with beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay! The only issue we had was a lack of towels. There were not enough bath towels for us without doing laundry. No dish towels in the upstairs kitchen and only a few washcloths.

Fantastic Home

While my family was sadly in town for a memorial service, I will say that this house really brought us peace and tranquility. Extremely well maintained and clean and stocked with necessary items. It was very spacious and we spent a lot of time at the dinner table playing games. The view from both decks was stunning and it felt like we were in a little hideaway from civilization and reality. The host was very available and communicative. We would absolutely rent there again in the summer.

Property was clean, comfortable and the view was terrific. The only issue we had was they also had a tenant in a garage apartment. Would have been nice to know we were sharing the property. We saw a light on in the garage and went to shut it off when we saw someonecin threethere was

Visit to Cooperstown

Visited the area to attend my grandson’s baseball tournament in Cooperstown Dream Park. There was only 4 of us staying in the house so there was plenty of room. The location is convenient to the park as well as the village. We had a view of the beautiful lake which we enjoyed every morning and evening. I would love to visit the area again. Parking is convenient and ample, although a little tricky. The house is supplied with enough cookware, dishes and flatware to host a large group. We could have used a few more bath towels so we wouldn’t have to do laundry. Last thing, there is a garage on the lower part of the property that does have a full time residence, that did surprise us a bit. All had a “Great” visit to Lion View.
