Perfect location for parking the car and either cycling directly to the Creeper Trail or walking into town for great food, coffee and snacks. Hosts thought of everything to make the stay easy and accessible, especially the indoor cycling set-up for those coming to town for this purpose. Highly recommend--easiest check in and stay ever.
This is an EXCELLENT place to stay when visiting Abingdon. It is easy walking or driving to much of Abingdon (Creeper Trail .3 miles away). The furnishing was inviting and eclectic, the bedrooms small and adequate, and the living room was large enough for six or seven people to sit and visit comfortably. We will stay here again the next time to come to Abingdon.
I come to Abingdon a couple times a year and have stayed in a variety of places but this is by far the best! So clean, quaint and quiet. I loved sitting out on the front porch or out by the stream. I certainly will be back.Virginia
Such a lovely cottage in an excellent location! The country vibe melds with the updated kitchen, with nice additions like coffee and tea, a washer and dryer, bike rack, and puffy queen bed. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the porches and creek-side chairs!
This cottage was perfect for our stay in Abingdon. It is a beautiful little cottage and the ideal size for our 4-person group. It is walkable to anything in downtown so we just left our car at the house and did not worry about parking. It was very easy to communicate with the owner and they are very responsive. I am looking forward to staying here again!
We three lady friends celebrating birthdays were here for a super cold week in December with plans to walk everywhere, and we still did. Braving the cold, we enjoyed shops and restaurants nearby as well as a great musical at Barter theater. House was cute, cozy, and clean. Easy in and out.
Superb location! Minutes to the VA Creeper Trail. Walkable town and excellent restaurants. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Relaxation in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The train horn does not sound between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Even though the Firehouse is across the street and emergency services were down the street, we would have never known either was there. Nice small park across the street. Even though there are hooks behind the bedroom doors and three small drawers on either side of the master bed, there are no coat hangers and no closets in any of the three bedrooms. The bathroom is efficient with hot water, water pressure, and nice towels and washcloths, but I would recommend taking a bathroom caddie for easily accessible storage if you bring your own bathroom products. Much appreciation to Blake for addressing my chemical sensitivities. Just a couple of hiccups concerning communication and cleanliness; however, Blake was apologetic about the missed communication, and he said he would speak to the housecleaners before the next guests arrived.

For clarity, there is a closet with hangers in the front bedroom.
Had a wonderful time! Always so fun to be in Abingdon, and this cottage has an ideal location; very close to Main Street, restaurants, and a very short bike ride to Creeper Trail! Well, definitely stay again!
Great location. We could walk to any of the attractions or restaurants in historic district. House was well stocked and communication was excellent. Would stay again
Love the cottage and within walking distances of everything I wanted to do. The cottage was very clean and one of the best get aways I have had in a very long time.
Family spent the weekend for my Dad's 80th bday celebration. Perfect place for our short trip. Very clean and great location. We will plan to return when it's warmer to enjoy the sites & hiking.

Great hosting you and look forward to the next trip!
The property was beautiful, inside and out, and we couldn't have asked for a better location, just a block off Main Street. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. And thats saying a lot as we all have bad backs!Would definitely come back if it were closer to home.
Perfect spot for a girl's weekend. We enjoyed both the creek out back and the covered porch out front. This tidy home is comfortable and well equipped. A Mama duck and her ducklings came from across the street and jumped in the creek behind the house which was a sweet sight.
