YOUR JEKYLL ISLAND VACATION HOME
Sundowner is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Jekyll Island rental home on the marsh side of the island. With vaulted ceilings, bold color, and a view of the Sydney Lanier Bridge from your front firepit, this home is anything but ordinary. Two full living rooms (one with a full-sized pool table), a wall of glass sliders, and wide-open sightlines make it perfect for groups who want space to spread out without splitting up. You're close to everything—but far enough to get away with anything.
Looking for something to do your first afternoon? Book a spot on Jekyll Island Dolphin Tours, recently named TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best for boat tours in the U.S. Bring a cooler and whatever you’d like to sip on. Dolphins are basically guaranteed—but even if they bail, you’ll still have fun and a view to remember.
SLEEP IN ON JEKYLL ISLAND
• Sleeps 8 comfortably across 4 bedrooms
• The Flower Room: King bed, smart TV, private en-suite with walk-in shower
• Golden Room: Queen bed with attached bath and sunny style
• Orange Room: Queen bed, patio access, and playful color-blocked corners
• Blue Room: Twin beds, coastal art, and bright natural light
• Every bedroom has closet space, blackout shades, and plenty of personality
• There's mischief in this home. It works great for groups, couples, and is family-friendly—if your family’s anything like ours
JEKYLL ISLAND OUTDOOR LIVING
• Firepit seating under live oaks, with a marsh view and the bridge in the distance
• Front and back patios with sun and shade options
• Palms, pines, and privacy in every direction
• Private driveway with room for 5 cars
• Located on quiet Riverview Drive
Get out and eat out. Start with Zachary’s Riverhouse—just a 7-minute drive away—and make sure to sit outside. Order wild Georgia shrimp while the sun sets over the marina. For something a little louder, head to The Wharf for a low country boil with live music right on the water. Or slow things down with brunch at The Grand Dining Room inside the Jekyll Island Club, just 2.2 miles away. Built in the 1880s as a private resort for the Rockefellers, Morgans, and Vanderbilts, it now serves white-tableclothed, elegantly indulgent fare with flair—prepared for those with taste, but priced for those with sense. Worth every cent.
If you're up for a little adventure, grab a cruiser from Beachside Bike Rentals and explore the island’s 25+ miles of trails. Driftwood Beach is a 5-minute drive and feels like stepping into a black-and-white photograph. Horton Pond, just six minutes away, is your best shot at spotting an alligator. The bird sanctuary hidden inside the Jekyll Island Campground is only four minutes away and always full of life. Just go in. You’re allowed. Trust me. And if you like your detours weird and wonderful, make time for the Jekyll Island Amphitheater Ruins—1.6 miles from the house and completely overgrown, graffitied, and haunting in the best way.
