Hi! We're Wade and Karen. I’m originally from Sarasota, Florida, born and raised in Venice, and I’ve always loved the community here. This home belonged to my mother, and our family has inherited it—it’s our happy place, and we take great care of it. Karen is originally from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and moved to Florida eight years ago to be with me. We love sharing this special home with guests and hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is beautiful, calm, and comfortable, offering the perfect balance between social life and privacy. It’s a wonderful place to take walks, and there’s a gym, great pools, and plenty of amenities. The people here are friendly, and it’s definitely not a “snooty” area—just a welcoming community of nice people.
What makes this property unique
Our home is a family-owned property that we cherish and care for with love. The backyard is lush and private, overlooking a large pond full of birds and wildlife—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The neighborhood is safe, gated, and conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, parks, and just a short drive to the beach. We think it’s a special spot, and we’re excited to share it with you.
