A private pool and outdoor BBQ kitchen & bar area with expansive patios and porches for relaxing, dining entertaining and wonderful sunsets overlooking the harbour.

A lovely, private, cozy but spacious home nestled just off Bay street on Harbour Island will make for a wonderful island family vacation. Hidden behind traditional lattice fencing and charming gates, Strawberry House offers outdoor spaces that are expansive, shaded, inviting and ultra-private. Marble appointed bathrooms, central AC, hardwood floors, washer/dryer, stainless steel kitchen appliances, flat screen TV's, pool, BBQ & pool bar, outdoor shower, outdoor covered dining, roof top poop deck with harbour views.

The house offers a back up generator & water systems and housekeeping service daily except Sundays and bank holidays.

Annual Family Harbour Island

We have been to the island over 4 years in a row now at various rentals. This rental by far the best location, size, layout. The rooftop is a dream bay view with a sunset every night. We catered in through C&C and the upper deck fit 13 of us! Truly a great experience. Positives 4 bedrooms as listed Engaged property management Cleaning daily Pool and pool bar **Rooftop view Esentials were replaced daily (paper towels, water,etc) Daily grounds keeping so very nice. Awarenesses Dogs across street were loud at times (but town) Pool was not heated so April was chilly (like ocean) Bedrooms below living room so can be noisy In all by far we have stayed at 5+ houses on the island of similar sizes and this was a great house! For sure a grade above the rest in the same price catagory.

In town historic modernized gem

We loved our stay at Strawberry House! I have been to the Island over some 50 years, and I would walk by this house over the years appreciating it’s island architecture, pink and green palette colors, and open porch vibes. For many, it is one of their favorite island houses. My family enjoyed the layout and the privacy and decor of all the bedrooms with their own en-suite well appointed baths. We loved the beautiful garden scape pool area and ping pong table, and the expansive 3 levels of gorgeous wide porches. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there is a large outdoor porch table for memorable dinners in the island air and atmosphere. The roof porch is wonderful for a nap or watching all the boat action on the Government Dock or along Bay Street. The house is in town- central as can be, and very walkable close to shops, groceries, the Bay, restaurants, and a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. We also loved the comfortable attractive open living space upstairs for enjoyable time with family. It is a very special, historic house, on a very special island. Would definitely welcome another stay at Strawberry House!

This house is incredible. 3 bedrooms downstairs - all with great beds and sheets. One bedroom (with King bed), on the second floor with it's own balcony. The views are incredible. The AC works really well. Mary comes everyday, and she is delightful. Highly recommend. The outdoor space is great with a pool and outdoor grill too. We loved our stay and would 100% rent again on a return trip. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Perfect Property

House was amazing. Lots of room, very well decorated. Private bath for all bedrooms. Bathrooms,laundry and A/C were awesome which means a lot in Bahamas. Outdoor space was awesome (pool and outdoor kitchen). Terrace with view over harbor is great for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Property mgmt was superb and very prompt. James knows the island like no other, is right around the corner from house and was immediately available when needed. I highly recommend this house and will return in the future (when I hear it might have a 4th bedroom).
