Custom built Boothbay Harbor studio minutes to town with a view of Mill Cove.

Hawks nest has all the modern conveniences, completed in 2018.
It is surrounded by windows with a cross breeze off the ocean or has air-conditioning and heating. It has a gourmet kitchen, a bathroom with heated floors, a heated towel rack, and a walk-in shower.
This second story studio sleeps two, in a very comfortable queen plus American leather sofa, without bars. There is an exclusive area on the side of the guest house, with a gas grill, comfortable seating that overlooks the beautiful gardens and Mill Cove.
One parking space is provided with your own entrance to the guesthouse.
The town of Boothbay Harbor has boat rides, wonderful restaurants, quaint shops, art galleys, and a land trust with many hiking trails, all over the peninsula. Kayak rentals in town are also available.
The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is 3 miles from Hawks nest. It’s a must!
The property is a smoke-free and has a firm no pet policy. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Minimum four night stay.

Perfect spot for a getaway vacation stay

Immaculate, private, lovingly decorated apartment, the Hawk’s Nest is a ‘find’! Great location to access Boothbay Harbor and Southport Island shops and restaurants. Hosts were so welcoming and offered lots of info on local sites and activities. We’ll definitely return!!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well-appointed place to stay in a great location, this is the place for you! The owners are lovely and informative. This was by far our best VRBO experience.

Magical Hawk's Nest

We had a wonderful stay at Hawk's Nest! The apartment is really nicely done with beautiful craftsmanship and a magical garden. The mattress was a little firmer than we'd like, but we still slept like logs after long days full of adventures around Boothbay.

Hawk's Nest is awesome. It is everything as described and more. We couldn't have had a better five days. Abby and Brian were great hosts. We were sad to leave and hope to return next summer.

Adorable and comfortable cottage. So close to everything! Walk into the heart of Boothbay. View of the water….it feels like you are in a treehouse! Abbie (host and owner) and her husband are so nice and helpful with suggestions of everything! Can’t say enough nice things about our stay!

Lovely spot in Boothbay Harbor

Abby and Brian’s place in Boothbay Harbor is just perfect - super location and very walkable. Comfortable and extra clean - it is even better than the pictures. The hosts have a beautiful yard and garden area and are quite welcoming with excellent recommendations for favorite activities and restaurants. 100% will stay here again when I return. Boothbay Harbor is charming and this is the perfect spot!

We moved here from Annapolis Maryland. I am a trained Chef who worked on yachts all over the world and has a catering company for 35 years. My husband built Hawk’s Nest. He is a master craftsmen and has created unique details to our Guest House.

Why they chose this property

We have a quaint neighborhood overlooking Mill Cove with a sidewalk into the Village (5 minute walk). All of us pride ourselves in our gardens.

What makes this property unique

My flower gardens are quite special. There is a private sitting ares designated with an eating table and chairs and 2 teake cushioned chairs.
We have many birds including hummingbirds. We have many trees that create privacy.
