Jane was great throughout our stay. We had a minor plumbing issue in the house during our stay and Jane and her husband were prompt to fix it. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend to others to book
The home is lovely with plenty of room and has nice outdoor gathering areas. The home and property are clean and well-kept. Jane is a wonderful hostess. Looking forward to a return trip!

Thank you for your stay Lynne! It is our pleasure to serve as you and your guests! Go PSU!
Everything was very well done. No detail was too small even the personalized thank you note with the wax sealed envelope! Great hosts who have put together a great property!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Everything about the property was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable, felt very livable. The outside was quiet and secluded, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy. Every space was thoughfully decorated and furnished. Would definately recommend and plan to stay again.
The photos of the property made it look beautiful, and in person it was even better! We were up for the weekend for the Penn State game, and everything about the home put us in the mood for the game (GO PSU!!) and we felt right at home. Everything from the decor, to the amenities Jane left for us to the contact we had with her and the ease we had with renting and getting settled were perfect! I would recommend this property and the owner to anyone looking in the area!

The Love Shack is a beautiful home with everything you could possibly want in a home. Beds were very comfy and kitchen is well stocked. The property sits it sits on is equally beautiful. We saw deer prancing around the yard and along the road. Nature at its best! We would highly recommend this home.
We had a very nice stay at the Love Shack. Jane went out of her way to think of everything and added many extras -- water bottles in each bedroom, wine, toiletries, and snacks. The house was spotless and the layout was great -- the heated family room was especially cozy. The binder with restaurants and other information was very helpful. Truly 5 stars (not just Vrbo "everyone gets 5 stars").
The Love Shack was an excellent getaway for our group trip. The house was spotless and accommodating for all we needed. Jane goes above and beyond thinking of all you may need during your stay. From extra chargers, plenty of blankets, and bathroom necessities to water, wine and chocolates, it was superb! We spent the day in State College and Bellefonte shopping and eating then relaxed for the evening. The hot tub is an added touch!
My family came to watch our son in a fencing tournament in Pennsylvania and we stayed for a few days. The attention to detail that Jane and her husband took to make our stay so warm and welcoming has been spoken of many times in our family since we left. There was not a single thing that we were wanting for being away from home. Any issue we had was dealt with promptly and all communication was easy and appreciated. The cleanliness of the home was impeccable. Thank you for being wonderful hosts. I hope we will be back to stay again!

About the host

Native Central Pennsylvanias ourselves, we love all four seasons! If you are traveling from another state or just need to get to Centre County for a special occasion, we hope that you consider kicking back and relaxing at our home.
Why they chose this property
This is a very quiet neighborhood. One of the best parts about the home is the view from the family room where there are big windows facing the mountainside.
What makes this property unique
If you do not want to hear constant traffic, enjoy the peacefulness of a wind chime during a light breeze and birds chirping, this is the place for you. Deer feed nightly at our feeder and a small stream trickles through our property which helps make the property just a little bit more relaxing.
