I'm thrilled to hear that you had an amazing time at our place and that the location suited your needs perfectly, Matthew! The hot tub and fire pit are always favorites among guests. Thank you for sharing your experience! We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
The property was well maintained and appointed. The beds were very comfortable (which is sometimes not the case at VRBOs). It was a nice spot for our family. We also liked its close proximity to Custer, a darling town nestled in the Black Hills.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you found the property well-maintained and that the comfortable beds made your stay even better. It's great to know that the location worked well for your family, especially with the charming town of Custer so close by. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to the Black Hills!
This was a great home for my family and my sister in laws family. We had 9 total and all fit comfortably. It was unseasonably warm a few days so the AC was a very nice touch. The hot tub was a great way to unwind at night as well! I’d definitely stay here again if I was in the black hills. Just minutes from Custer yet we felt like we in a quiet secluded area.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Greg! We're delighted that your families had a comfortable stay and that the home provided the perfect balance of space and amenities, especially during the warm days. It’s great to know you enjoyed the peaceful setting while still being close to Custer. We’re glad the hot tub offered a relaxing end to your days, and we’d love to welcome you back for another stay in the future!
We took our family to the monuments for fall break. The cabin was great. The location was wonderful. Lots of wildlife. There was a fire ban, so we don’t get to use the wonderful fire pit! My husband loved the sauna. The only negative was the WiFi. We used. Hotspot and things worked out.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Julie! It sounds like your fall break was filled with great memories, from spotting wildlife to relaxing in the sauna. While the fire ban was a bit of a letdown, we hope you’ll get to enjoy the fire pit next time.
Though our cabin’s rural setting can mean a different Wi-Fi experience than in the city, we’ve upgraded to fiber optic cable and added signal boosters to offer the best connection possible. We’d love to welcome your family back for another adventure!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
The hot tubs lacked privacy (multiple cameras positioned 9 ft from them) and the grill was so dirty with no tools to resolve we had to change plans for dinner that night (something that should have been cleaned before guest arrival).
The house was very clean and the rooms were well appointed. There were ample towels. The hot tub and sauna were great. The Wi-Fi was subpar. I would recommend to the host that they put a booster in the unit. If you want to get away from everything, this is an ideal place to disconnect. If you need to work remotely, the Wi-Fi does not stay on and it’s very spotty. You can stream a movie, but you can’t watch anything live on television. Also make sure that you bring extra toiletries with you and the kitchen is not well stocked if you are a chef.

The property was pretty clean inside. Exterior not well maintained with overgrown weeds, a falling apart grill, and the deck needing painted. Some mold above the shower on the wall also. Front door lock did not work for our entire stay. The pictures online made it appear nicer than it was. Honestly my family was very disappointed especially for the cost. For the money I would not stay here again.
