A quieter piece of Florida nestled among the treetops overlooking the beautiful clear Hernando Salt Spring-run and its mineral rich ecosystem of wildlife and maybe a manatee passing through the back yard.

The home is offers quiet walks and is within 15 minutes to the famous Mermaid show, eateries, shopping, hospitals, golf, hiking and 5 minutes to watch beautiful sunsets at Historic Bay port harbor pier or Pine beach. Kayaking from Home to Rodgers park & Weeki Wachee spring area is about 30 minutes via Mud river.

Room darkening blinds in bedrooms, Parents can request for use during their stay (baby monitor, Greco play pen, booster chair). The upstairs living area has 100% screened in porch, seating, gas grill. The covered downstairs patio offers shade, Large yard, an outdoor a charcoal BBQ grill, picnic tables, sun loungers, fire pit and game room in garage.

Never let kayaks touch ground or drag them. Especially when entering and exiting them. Wash and store after using.
Do not leave animals inside home alone. Keep pets off furniture, beds and do not let them inside wet.
No fireworks, candle or incense burning. CHECK BURN BANS BEFORE USING FIRE PIT. Leave oven liners on racks during baking, cut on block not countertop

The host was very sweet and communicated very well. The place was so clean and we had a great time! Our only complaint was the cold front that came in! However, that just means we’ll have to come back when it’s warmer! We can’t wait to stay here again.

We stayed here for a week in mid February. This place gave us exactly what we wished for- an alternative to a typical condo-on-the-beach vacation. Our family made memories taking daily kayak/ canoe trips in beautiful Weeki wachee water ways, spotting manatees every trip, nearby fishing trips, wildlife watching, buccaneer bay, caledesi island and much more! This home was exactly what we hoped for.The house was clean, communication was great, the host provided more amenities than expected. My kids also loved the basement! Thank you for having us!

My husband, pup and myself enjoyed staying here. The home was clean, had a bunch of water toys and a fantastic uppper screened in porch to enjoy a view of the water. Hosts were quick to answer any questions I had. 5 star's all the way!

Almost everything was great. The TV in the living room needs to be replaced. Could not get the blue to go away. There wasn't a can opener, so we bought one. The second bag of ice had melted together so we had to chip away at it with a butter knife. Minor issues. We all loved everything about the place. Would recommend to everyone.

Beautiful view, the water is crystal clear! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need. We had so much fun with all of the kayaks and water accessories provided. We had a wonderful time!

Gorgeous property on a spring creek !! The yard and home were very clean! Even during a hot Florida August vacation, we found cooler times to enjoy the screened in balcony overlooking the peaceful, beautiful water, and listening to nature. Be sure to bring beach towels !!, paper towels, laundry soap and dryer sheets, of course sun screen, bug spray, kleenex and a couch blanket if you want these things for your stay.

Mother’s Day weekend with my girls

I had a great time made them their favorite dinner . It was a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend. The only thing we got bit bad by mosquitos, Even with all the sprays. But the water front property was really nice. ThankYou for sharing your home.

This house is amazing. We lit a fire outback and let the kids swim right in the spring. At night, we played the board games that were provided upstairs and went downstairs to utilize the ping-pong table and darts. weeki Wachee Springs State Park is just down the road where we rented a cabana for the day to hang out in the lazy river and see the mermaid show. Bring your bug repellent for the mosquitoes and keep reapplying as this was the only disadvantage of the trip because they don’t spray the area for mosquitoes.
