Welcome to The Little Easy — your Broncos Playoff Basecamp and Denver escape.

Broncos fans, this is the spot to celebrate the 2025–2026 season! After recent big wins, the energy around Mile High is unreal — and you can be part of it without ever worrying about parking. Just hop on the light rail and walk up to the stadium in about 20 minutes from the front door. It’s the easiest, most fun way to join the roar of game day.

But even if football isn’t your main event, The Little Easy is still a cozy winter retreat and an effortless launchpad for everything Denver offers. Take the train to Union Station and the Christmas Market, catch the Winter Park Express for stress-free ski days, or explore Downtown, Ball Arena, Coors Field, Meow Wolf, Sloan’s Lake, the Zoo, and the Botanic Gardens—all within minutes.

Inside, the cottage is full of colorful, vintage charm: hand-picked art, warm wood floors, a retro oven, and thoughtful touches that make the space feel personal rather than cookie-cutter. Fast fiber internet makes work or streaming easy, and the spacious fenced yard (with a 100-year-old apricot tree!) is perfect for pets—who stay free, always.

With 1,700 sq ft, two traditional bedrooms, and a sunny office/guest room, the layout offers comfort and privacy for two couples, friends, families, or anyone looking for a stay with character. Whether you’re here for the playoffs, the mountains, the markets, or simply a peaceful getaway, The Little Easy invites you to slow down, settle in, and enjoy a home with a story.

Great Location!!

Great spot and close to less than 10 minutes away from downtown. Just a few blocks walk to light rail as well. Ashton is a great and probably the best host I have booked through. Very quick to respond if I had a question. Even though they are updating a bit, it it is still a great place with lots of historical charm! Will stay again if we need a place to stay in Denver! Thanks so much Ashton!

Fun time in Denver

We loved the house, the location and the host. Ashton is terrific. She immediately responds to all communications. The house is in the middle of a complete renovation, so there are some finish items that aren’t completed. It was nothing that interfered with our stay. The decor is eclectic and great. It worked really well for the 5 of us. If we come lack to Denver we will stay here.

Adorable and comfortable house!

If you enjoy staying in quirky places with a lot of personality, you will love Ashton's place in Denver. She's doing an amazing job renovating this house, so definitely read her property description to see what new things are happening, as she's extremely thorough in what you should expect. What I loved about the house was that there was plenty of space to hang out - we were able to visit with my partner's adult kids without feeling cramped at all. The house is full of nooks and crannies and I loved that the decor felt really personal and interesting. Our chihuahua loved running around in the backyard which is a nice size, and I'm sure it will be beautiful in the summer. The kitchen is small but thoughtfully equipped - note that the stove is period and the oven is very small, and there is only a small refrigerator, but this was fine for us on vacation. We were able to cook everything we needed with only a few adaptations. Ashton left us a lovely bottle of wine and some really thoughtful activity suggestions. The light rail is just down the street, which was great - you really are so close. The neighborhood is very similar to the one I live in - if you are used to the environment of a mixed income metro area, it will feel very familiar. If you're looking for cookie cutter, this may not be the place for you, but if you're like me, you'll adore it!

No 'villa' in Villa Park

Exterior of the home was unattended, and the grass and flowers in the yard were dead and brown. Hadn't been watered or cared for in days. Not like it looks in the VRBO listing pictures. Neighborhood was a little rough and out of the way. Houses on both sides of this property appear to be abandoned with boarded up windows. Never entered the home b/c entry instructions were not properly executed. After one hour waiting to try to reach the owner, we had to shift our plans to stay b/c we couldn't get inside. We understand accidents happen and miscommunication occurs, but the house was not what we expected, nor was it a place that we would choose to stay again. The owner did eventually get back to us, apologized, and VRBO returned (most of) our payment but the inconvenience was an uncompensated hassle.

About the host

Hosted by Ashton Jackson

Host profile image
I’ve been hosting for nearly a decade, starting in Florida where I renovated vintage campers. Since then, I’ve poured the same care into every place I’ve created—from beach bungalows to this Denver cottage, my biggest project yet.

My spaces are designed to feel welcoming, comfortable, and a little magical. Whether playful or peaceful, each one is crafted with genuine hospitality to give guests an easy, memorable escape.

Why they chose this property

I chose Villa Park because it’s one of Denver’s best-kept secrets — a quietly thriving neighborhood full of character and heart. Just minutes west of downtown, it offers rolling-hill views of both the skyline and the mountains, plus instant access to scenic trails like Lakewood Gulch for walking, biking, or exploring with your pup.

Parks such as Joseph P. Martinez and Paco Sánchez give the area a relaxed, community-focused feel, and the RTD W Line makes getting around incredibly easy. You’re also close to Sloan’s Lake and can walk or bike to Mile High Stadium!

Villa Park is a true hidden gem, and I’m excited to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

What makes this cottage stand out is how deeply personal it is. It’s been my creative playground — part art project, part design experiment, and entirely meant to transport guests into a colorful, imaginative space that feels anything but cookie-cutter. In summer, the pollinator garden bursts with wildflowers; in winter, you’ll enjoy peaceful views of the snow-covered city and distant peaks.

The home itself is full of charm: vintage furniture, hand-picked art, a classic wood floor glow, even a retro oven with real character. Outside, you’ll find a huge backyard anchored by a 100-year-old apricot tree, and pets are always welcome with no added fees.

The layout is great for two couples seeking both comfort and privacy, and while the location couldn’t be more convenient, this is also the kind of place where you can settle in, stay put, and feel completely content.
