Looking for high-end accommodations in West End? Look no further—our beachfront villa on Half Moon Bay offers the authentic Roatán experience, plus all the amenities you’d expect from an upscale resort.

We’ve designed each room to be a retreat in itself. The villa boasts four spacious bedrooms, three of which have in-suite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have views of the Caribbean. The master bedroom is especially luxurious, with vaulted hardwood ceilings and floors and a private balcony that looks out over both Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean. Each room is decorated in an eco-spa style, giving the villa a sense of tranquility and comfort.

Outside, you’ll find a private infinity-edge plunge pool, which overlooks the ocean. Coupled with the partially covered patio and resort-caliber furnishings, it’s the perfect place to kick back and relax.

In addition to all this, the villa features dual-zone AC, a brand new water filtration system, a high-end kitchen with granite and stainless steel accents, plush linens, an infrared BBQ, and high speed Wi-Fi. We also provide a full concierge service through our local property manager, and our private chef is available upon request.

For travelers who want an authentic Roatán experience, the villa couldn’t be better situated. West End is known as more of a neighborhood than a resort town, and you’ll find fewer tourists here than you would in West Bay. Even so, there are plenty of activities within a half hour of the villa, including dolphin encounters, ziplining, horseback riding, scuba diving, and golfing, to name a few. You can even visit an iguana farm!

You don’t have to go far to snorkel—hop in the water right off the villa, and you’ll be swimming in the world’s second-largest barrier reef. Approximately 96% of all Caribbean marine life is found here, and you’re likely to encounter sea turtles, lionfish, lobsters, and more.

Perfect location! Very nicely kept clean safe property. Nice small beach easy to rent chairs from Anita or restaurants. Good snorkeling off beach. Marvin was terrific - always available and super nice. Having this view with hot showers and a great kitchen and common space for games and such when it rained was perfect. Right in the center of West End, no need for a car. One note, when the bars stayed open late it was crazy loud - bring earplugs.

This was our fifth time staying at Coral Vista, and we always love it. The place is perfect for groups with four bedrooms and four baths - everyone gets their own ensuite. We had a couple of hiccups this time, but Marvin was so quick to fix everything and made sure we were comfortable. We love the location on half moon bay. Can't wait to come back again!

Great location beautiful house

Loved our stay at coral vista and Roatán. Checkin was easy, property felt really private and secure but was also super close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Onsite staff kept everything looking great and were very helpful. Was wonderful to have pickup from the airport after a long and delayed flight. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Absolutely wonderful vacation at this property. The communication from the property management company was great, all if the people were so helpful. West End is a great location to stay with tons of restaurants and shops in walkable distance. West Bay is only a 10 minute water taxi ride away. We will be back!!

Dreamy Villa in Paradise!

Imagine a 2-story villa directly on half-moon bay where no luxury or detail has been overlooked. With two central AC units, impact windows, quality furniture / linens, Sonos sound stations, a washer & dryer, two balconies and a private plunge pool, you will never want to leave. The views are stunning, and the villa is within walking distance to everything that West End offers. Perfect stay, only wish we had more time to enjoy!

Diving Trip

Just finished a 7-day trip Jan 14-21/24 to dive with three friends. This unit is perfect for us as it had separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each and is close to everything in West End. We chose to pre-stock our villa before arrival, and everything was there when we arrived, and I would highly recommend this.

Great Stay and Wonderful Staff

You cannot beat the location and the property is wonderful. However, we cannot say enough about the responsiveness of the staff. We had a couple of small maintenance issues that were fixed almost immediately. Then when our flight was cancelled, they helped us with our accommodations for the extra night. Could not have been any more helpful than they were.

Fantastic stay!

We loved our time at Coral Vista 2! Beautiful home and location. We so enjoyed the snorkeling and diving out of West End and Half Moon Bay. Jimmie was very professional at check-in. Marvin took beautiful care of the property and of us throughout the week. He really went way out of his way to make sure we were ok. I am so grateful! We would love to return! Spacious, Clean Property in a Great Location

The house was clean and well stocked with beach towels, as well as essential kitchen utensils, cookware and dishes. We didn't have the best of luck with water pressure throughout the house, but taking turns showering and running the wash machine and/or dish washer greatly helped. Lots of great shops, markets and restaurants nearby to explore. We enjoyed snorkeling in the bay directly behind the house - saw lots of cool fish, coral, and anenomes. With a group of 6 adults, there was plenty of space for all to gather as a group for meal times and lounge in the living room and/or outdoor patio. It was great to have separate, large, comfortable spaces (bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms) to retreat to as desired. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great Location and House

The house is in the perfect location, just steps from the beach, restaurants, bars and water taxis. The patio overlooks the water and was the perfect vantage point for the New Year's fireworks. Property was clean and the management company was responsive. In the listing photos, the pool looks like it is in the sun, but the trees around it have grown, so the pool was in the shade and didn't get warm - no one wanted to go in because it was freezing, so just keep that in mind. The listing also states the the house can hold 10 people, but the management company said this is with kids sharing beds with family or an air mattress on the floor, which they got for us (thankfully!), but that wasn't guaranteed. Overall, a great house and would stay again!

The property location is absolutely perfect. All the employees were great to deal with. This was my second time staying at Coral Vista. I stayed in Unit 4 last summer and I thought Unit 2 would be comparable. We were looking forward to our luxury vacation & instead we were disappointed in our house choice. The kitchen only had minimal cooking utensils, mixing bowls and pots. There were just a few small appliances like toaster, blender and coffee pot. There were only two small storage containers to use for leftover food. I had a large group of people in a large kitchen with barley enough things in the kitchen to prep meals. The sound system is so outdated. Nothing synced up. We had to download an app to use it and had to play their music. We didn't even get to enjoy using it.

Beautiful Location, Spacious Villa

Everything was great about the stay. Very clean house. Plenty of towels and linens and all the necessities for an Island stay. The AC was strong. The groundskeeper Marvin was helpful and friendly. The pool was cleaned daily. The views of the bay and snorkeling access, proximity to dive shops, and proximity to restaurants was great. There were only two issues: 1) The property management company were very friendly and helpful, but they didnt contact us until the day before the trip. The owner did not respond to our reaching out about early check in. 2) There is a dance club nearby that plays music late at night. You can hear the music from the bedrooms on the “street” side of the house, although if the AC is running it is barely noticeable. Two suggestions: 1) In the summer, the sun in Roatan rises at 5:30am. Please install some blackout curtains in the eastern bedroom. 2) The knives in the kitchen were pretty dull. Replacing the kitchen knives more often would be helpful. Also, better cooking pans would be nice.All in all a 5 out of 5 stay.

Highly Recommend

We had a awesome week at Coral Vista 2. The house was perfect for our needs! It is conveniently located in the heart of West End near many restaurants, bars and shopping. My 85 year old father was able to easily walk to all places of interest during the week. We were greeted at the airport by Frankie who was very helpful…he even waited approx. 45 minutes for another member of my party arrive on a different flight. He stopped at a large grocery store on the way into town to stock up for the week. Upon arrival at Coral Vista 2, we were happy to meet our caretaker, Marvin, who stayed a couple of hours after his normal work time to assist with our luggage to the house. Marvin checked in daily and was able to immediately fix a couple of minor things (light bulbs and a broken flusher to a toilet) He made arrangements for Frankie to pick us up for a return trip to the airport and helped with our luggage to the van. I would definitely stay at Coral Vista 2 again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Roatan! Blair Tharrington Jan 2023

Great Place!

Close to it all but removed enough to be quiet and relaxing. The property manager and their man on site, Marvin, were very attentive and responsive to our needs. If you want to go to Roatan, this is a great place to stay.

Wonderful location! Stayed here just over a month and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is ideally located just yards away from the fantastic snorkelling and many restaurants/ bars. The house is fully stocked with towels, kitchen appliances and utensils etc. Marvin, who looks after the properties, was a great help during our stay. Would definitely recommend this rental. Coral Vista was perfect for our first visit to Roatan.

The house was located in a perfect spot on Half Moon Bay. Right on the water for snorkeling / swimming from the beach. Just a 50 yards away from the docks to meet up with our fishing captain. Restaurants of all types are close by. Our group either walked or used the water taxi service to get around. Our week was a most lovely experience!

We live in the greater Boston area with our four children (15, 13 and a pair of 9 year olds as of the year we bough the villa). Originally from upstate New York and Seattle, Washington, we moved here almost 20 years ago for work and to raise our family. We love to travel, dive, ski, and generally explore the many amazing experiences the world has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We purchased Coral Vista 2 (CV2) about two years after purchasing one of the sister properties (CV1, also known as Half Moon Bay House). Our experience as both owners and guests of the flagship Coral Vista property convinced us that the opportunity to own the villa next door was too good to pass up. With both villas, we can accommodate larger groups of up to 16+ people and we have more scheduling and pricing flexibility.

What makes this property unique

The most unique aspect of the villa is its location. There are luxury accommodations all over the world, but there are only five on a coral peninsula in the heart of West End village on one of the last true, undiscovered Caribbean islands.
