About this property

Crooked Creek Lodge

You will fall in love with the rustic charm and cozy atmosphere of this expansive horse property located in Nemo, South Dakota. The property offers stunning views and ample space for you to relax and enjoy your stay. In addition to providing you with the comforts of a lodge, we also offer horse accommodations in our barn. Moreover, we offer RV hookups that are available upon request. Please contact management for the availability of the extra accommodations. 
The lodge has 3 bedrooms, offering 4 total beds and an additional sofa bed to offer additional sleeping space. There are 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. There is a covered porch area and three decks to enjoy the outdoors while you stay. The great room back inside has a gas fireplace for your use. The kitchen offers a place to prep and serve on the granite countertops and is fully stocked to allow you to stay in and enjoy dinner at home. The two care attached garage is included in the nightly rental and provides ample space to store all your toys.
The property borders Black Hills National Forest so bring your ATV's, motorcycles, or horses, jump on, and enjoy! Box Elder Creek runs through the property and originates upstream of Nemo. At the headwaters, just minutes away, is a fantastic brook trout stream. Lower, the creek holds a good number of brown and rainbow trout.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The amenities, views and plenty of room for our dogs, family and friends, UTV and boat to explore the Black Hills, see Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorials. We had a lot packed in for a week so the location was perfect for us.

This is literally in the middle of it all! Can hit up Deadwood, Lead, Spearfish, Devils Tower, Hill City, Custer, Keystone all in reasonable times and can see it all! Lots of wildlife, well stocked kitchen, and overall wonderful clean property! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Crooked Creek Lodge! Such a great place to 4 wheel out of! The property manager was fantastic to work with! It was a great place for my family and friends to gather and hang out over Easter! We loved that they let us have our dogs with us too! We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful place in Nemo

We are frequent travelers to the Hills and your place in Nemo was spectacular. We love the little town of Nemo, eating at the Mercantile, being right in the middle of Rapid City, Hill City, Deadwood, Sturgis, etc. We did a few days of trail riding and enjoyed the Nemo flag, Custer Peak, Mini-canyon, lunch in Piedmont. Your place was the perfect little weekend get-away.

Short vacay

Great little cabin, nestled in a tiny little town. Super quiet with just us and Plenty of deer and other wildlife to see. The only thing disappointing for us was that the great fireplace wasnt working. The manager though got back with us right away and said the owner is trying to get it fixedfixedaway which was great.
