Here's a charmer right in the heart of Suttons Bay! Walk to everything the village has to offer. 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Second floor apartment with large deck that faces east. There are 15 outdoor steps to the apartment. Sleeps up to 3. Will consider weekly or short stays during any season. Summer 3 night minimum. Arrival and/or departure date must back up to existing reservations and/or begin/end on a Saturday or Sunday. Memorial and Labor Day weekends require three nights.

Queen bed in bedroom plus air mattress. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Washer/dryer. Big screen TV with cable/DVD. Right across from the beach and marina, this charming getaway will make you feel right at home. Walk next door to one of the great restaurants with outdoor dining. Head to the vintage Bay Theater for a late night movie. You won't have to drive anywhere if you stay at this great location. Enjoy the Suttons Bay Art Fair, Blues Festival and more from this location. Wineries are just minutes away.

Need more space? Rent the "Front Cottage" on the lower level. Sleeps 6. Also available is "Sweet Cherry" that can sleep up to 3 located on the back of property. Air conditioned. Some pets are considered in the off season. Linens are provided.

When we arrived the space had not been cleaned but the manager immediately responded and sent a housekeeper. The kitchen was well stocked and bed very comfortable. We highly recommend!

Nice location in Sutton’s Bay but very dated

Location could not be beat - right behind library, beach & marina! Easy check in & info from manager made locating it easy. Short walk to shops, restaurants & right on the beautiful Tart trail for bike riding!But the apartment is pretty dated: rusty porch furniture, squidgy carpet, hard water stained bathroom & really gives the feeling of staying in someone else’s home - especially as the stairs to main floor are semi-open with a doggy gate & fake plant sitting on the stairwell & a hollow core door added halfway down that lets all noise from downstairs float up…We were happy for the spot on the Leelenau peninsula that we love & visit often, but will be looking to stay somewhere else in the future.

Wonderful Weekend for Two

The property was perfect for what we needed. There was still soap from the previous renters left in the shower, and the overall cleanliness seemed lacking. That being said, the location was perfect, and the communication was efficient. Cheers!

It was very enjoyable until it got warm. No air conditioning and did not cool down enough for a restful nights sleep. Also, close to main street with much traffic in the mornings. And very minimal on supplies provided.

Ideal location if you enjoy being in the heart of Suttons Bay. You will hear music and conversations from the restaurant next door, traffic on the road and people staying below you but it all adds to the atmosphere. The cottage was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated the new patio furniture.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only things going for it is the location and the bed was comfortable. It is very run down. Sofa in terrible shape, carpets are foul and need a deep cleaning, lacking in maintenance - plaster coming off walls, beat up furniture, leaking shower, sink not draining. The bedroom faces M22, so road noise will impact light sleepers, and then there is noise from the restaurant next door at times as well...We had to pay a non-refundable $49 "damage deposit" (though we did not bring pets) and it is obvious that even this is not put back into maintaining the property between stays. Things have not improved since previous reviews outlining the same issues I also observed while staying at the unit. An overall lack of hospitality was clear. No WIFI - seriously? - it's 2019. Everywhere offers WIFI. It's all about the $$$ and a lack of respect for guests and their experience to me. We visit the area 5 times/yr. Given our experience, I am now hesitant to consider other rentals offered by this management company in the future.

It offers beautiful sunrises from a lovely bay view and is walking distance to everything in town. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen fairly well equipped. Music from the patio restaurant next door was a little noisy but if you want solitude, don't rent in town. Don't miss Chimoski's Bakery just down the street.
