Beautiful view!

This property was just as pictured. It had a beautiful view from the balcony! The staff was excellent (even with social distancing) and when they realized we had a an evening flight they gave us a complimentary late check out! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Facility was comfortable; plenty of added implements to make visit enjoyable; some components were showing wear; elevator is shaky; screen doors to lanai need adjustment. Beach walking quite enjoyable; easy drive to other attractions on the island; saw dozens of turtles on a beach near Mama's Fish House and several whales from our lanai.

Maui at its best

Our stay here was wonderful, the condo was clean, well maintained and well stocked with all the amenities required. Here are my improvement suggestions: 1. Install smoke alarms in all units 2. Improve reliability of elevator 3. Move smokers corner to East end of building, present location, occupied by one smoker and everyone in the pool gets secondary smoke with the trade winds blowing. 4. Pool hours should be until at least 10 pm, 7:30 pm is not acceptable, same as collecting all the lawn chairs at that time. We are here to enjoy the ocean and the pool!!! Providing above recommendations are put in place, we will return. Regards, Rolf Meier

Amazing view!

The condo pictures are accurate. It has everything you need. I was a little surprised there wasn’t an oven, but there is a ninja air fryer/bake/ broil counter appliance. The view is amazing! You are truly on the water. We enjoyed watching the canoe club next door every morning. The condo shades the morning sun, so we walked the beach every morning. The walk to the right is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful without condos. The walk to the left is nice and there’s a path for when the tide is in. It takes you down to where the turtles come in and hang out every morning. Super cool and we went numerous times. There is a bakery, ABC store, shave ice, and fresh fruit market directly across the street - very convenient. This is a quiet area. A five minute drive gets you to restaurants and more touristy area. We stayed for a little over a week and truly had an amazing time! We will definitely come back. The only negative would be the condo could use some tlc. It’s a little older and needs some touch ups. The paint is worn in places and a few kitchen cabinets don’t stay closed. It doesn’t take away from the amazing view. The bed was comfy and we literally konked out every night.

Comfortable condo in Paradise

Three of us stayed in this cozy condo in July 2011 and had a wonderful time. The pictures and description are accurate but they don't describe the aloha spirit of the ocean front location. We loved the views from the lanai and had all our meals out there even though the dining set was very comfortable. Having two bathrooms (for three women) was great as was the in-unit washer/dryer. The bedroom was a good size, nicely decorated and there were no complaints about the quality sleeper sofa. The unit has a lot of storage space as well and was very clean. We really liked being in a small condo complex and it was nicely landscaped, the pool was great and after two weeks it really seemed like home. The ocean is just steps away from the building and we enjoyed watching the canoe club members practicing every day from their location next door. There's an ABC store right across the street. There are a lot of lounge chairs on the lawn and the outdoor areas were well cared for. The complex is nicely situated and it was easy getting around to all the sights. The shopping carts near the parking lot were very useful for transporting groceries up to the condo and there was a flat luggage cart if needed. One note - there is no oven in the kitchen but there is a high-quality large microwave that fit our needs. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked. WiFi was available 100% of the time. We hated having to leave and would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Perfect location. Small condo building right on the ocean. Grounds well maintained. Unit was dated. Bedroom bath desperately needs work. Tub drains slow, handheld vs normal shower head. Faucet almost pulls out of the wall when activating shower head. Kitchen has basic supplies to fix a simple meal. Bed comfy.

Awesome beach front view

The view from this condo is awesome. It is centrally located on the island on a nice quiet beach. There is a farmers market/yummy bakery,ABC market and shaved ice directly across the road. The condo has nice tropical furnishings but is in need of some deep cleaning (surface clean was good) needs a paint refresher and general maintenance updates and has a very strong odor in the foyer area we could not get rid of. The kitchen has a generous amount of utensils/dishes/pans and such. Will definitely stay in this complex in the future.

Beautiful views and walking beach, quiet condo

We were visiting our daughter who recently moved to the island so we only spent our mornings and a few full days out of the 10 on the property, but the views are incredible and that's really what sold us on renting this unit. Morning coffee on the lanai, watching the canoe club in the morning, and going for a walk on the expansive stretch of beach was a great way to start the day. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay this is your place. We also enjoyed the convenient fresh farmers market across the street. Condo kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything you need, including storage containers. Only thing I would add is a juicer for lemons/limes to make ceviche with fresh fish from Pukalani farmers market (get there before 7:30am if you want fish). If you're looking for more activities, there are several things a short drive away. The pool and resort grounds are small and no other activities like the other resorts we've stayed at. Not sure I would recommend for families. Yes, the wild roosters previously mentioned make themselves heard even with our bedroom windows closed. Didn't bother us too much because 1. We used to own chickens, and 2. We fell asleep before they got started crowing so we slept through it. On the occasional night when I got up in the middle of the night it was a little more difficult to fall back asleep, BUT you can't hear them in the living area of the condo so if you choose to move to the couch/hideabed then the ocean sounds and crashing waves on the beach can lull you back to sleep. Sheets were not provided for this- I'm assuming because we were only 2 people, but I think it would be nice to have the option.

Perfect for the two of us!

This is a great place to stay. It is somewhat deceiving when you pull in the front of the building, but when you open the door to the condo, the view of the ocean is amazing. We appreciated having two bathrooms, a fruit and veggie market right across the street, along with an ABC store that you can get anything you need. Grocery store is nearby if you need to use one. The rental company was completely accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. We would opt to stay here again.

Nice unit with lovely view, but it's noisy

We were warmly greeted when we arrived and the follow-up phone call the next morning to make sure everything was ok was well appreciated. The view from the lanai is the best thing about the place. The unit was very clean and was very well equipped with everything you could have asked for (except for a beach umbrella but with the wind I can understand why they don't supply them). The building is located very close to the road and the bedroom window faces onto the street so there is a lot of noise from traffic and most especially from the wild roosters across the road that crow every morning before the sun comes up.The beach isn't that swimable and very few people were in the water. If we ever return to Maui we will stay elsewhere where it is more quiet.

Great Stay!!

We were looking for a place that had a great view, nice little beach, and was a great location on the island. This place was great! Wonderful location, it was a great middle ground between Kihei, Lahaina, and Wailea. Shave ice and general store are located right across the street, and it is a quick drive to many other places to eat as well. The beach outside is wonderful, and a great place to relax and enjoy the view! The condo itself was great, cute and perfect for a couple looking for a nice getaway. The property was clean and attended to, the only thing I would say is the elevator had a bit of an issue going up to the 4th floor sometimes, it might just be a little older....really no big deal at all since there are stairs as well. Other than that, the listing is very accurate in describing condo, amenities, and layout. We very much enjoyed our stay here, and would love to visit again! The owner provided great customer service as well. They offered a new service of renting a car, and it was great! We saved money, and it was so convenient to pick up and drop off the car at the airport. We also had experienced a horrible illness right before coming to Maui, and had to push back our vacation plans a day and they were very accommodating! Highly recommend this location for a great stay in Kihei, can't wait to come back!
