Beautiful Oceanfront Corner Unit

#240 is one of the top 1 bedroom, end unit, rental condominiums at Sugar Beach Resort, which is one of the top resort designations on Maui. Consider staying with us for the following reasons:

1) Oceanfront property - Spectacular views down the southern beach coast, all the way to the pu'u (cinder cone) of Makena. And of course, mind blowing sunsets…

2) End unit - This is an end unit, which is larger than the majority of 1 bedrooms at Sugar Beach Resort. The side window in the living area provides a wonderful view down the shoreline as well as providing light and ventilation. The shower in an end unit also has light and ventilation. A subtle but VERY NICE addition. Also, an end unit does not have public walkway outside the bedroom window. This is very comforting.

3) New owners - Professionally remodeled and beautifully decorated in 2015. Elegantly and casually appointed, with local Hawaiin-inspired artwork and modern appliances and fixtures.

4) 2nd floor unit - Being on the second floor creates a connection to the beach and breaking waves, yet provides the security and privacy of being one floor up. The second floor, at the end, also allows for easy access to the beach or to your car in the parking lot.

5) Sugar Beach Resort - Sugar Beach Resort is on a 4.5 mile long beach where you can play in the water, sun on the beach, watch the whales and observe the local canoe club outrigger canoeing. This highly desired Resort features FREE Parking, FREE High speed internet, FREE Wi-Fi and an on-site place to book vacation activities. Also, right on the property is a local favorite for a sandwich or beer, Dina's Sandwitch (as they promote "Sheer Witchery Sandwitches‏").

POOL CLOSURE: The pool is closed annually for 2 weeks to perform maintenance. The start date for this project is always the second Monday in September. Inquire about special rates for this 2 week period.

Lovely unit, quiet corner of building with spectacular ocean front view. Sounds of waves permeate the whole unit. Very comfortable bed. Host very responsive and involved. Great place to stay. Pool is great and ocean swimming a few feet from the unit!!

First of all the condo has the best view one can wish for. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Very quiet building. The beach is beautiful and accessible. Our host went out of his way to help when I had forgotten important belongings. We hope to return each year.

This was the perfect location to stay in Maui. The view from the living room is stunning! We loved starting each day with a cup of coffee, sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. The washer and dryer came in handy, and it was nice that a small amount of laundry supplies were available complimentary. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. It was so nice that the condo also included two beach chairs and beach towels – they definitely came in handy. We took advantage of the pool on-site and even ate at the cute sandwich shop on the property (food was great). The location was convenient – it was easy to get to wherever you wanted to go on the island. All this at a very affordable price compared to other properties!

The location is amazing. Very comfortable place with all the amenities including AC and in apt laundry. The owners and agent are flexible and accommodating. The resort is decent, but the beach and views are spectacular!

Great place to relax!

John’s place was wonderful! Beautiful balcony to sit and read, relax or enjoy a nice meal. In the evening we would listen to the waves from the living room. It was very relaxing!

Spacious and well-equipped condo, nicely furnished. The lanai with its view at the ocean is amazing. Nice location in more laid-back area of the island, great place to start your trips wherever on Maui. We enjoyed this place a lot and would be happy to come again.

Great beachfront unit

Wonderful to be right on the water with both sunrise and sunset views. Central location makes it easy for travellers like us to hit spots all over the island in one trip. Owner provides great amount of items - beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, cooler. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Perfect location from which to explore the whole island. A wonderful, calm swimming beach right adjacent, best bakery and shaved ice on island within walking distance. Everything was provided that was needed to enjoy this rental.

Perfect Maui Condo!!

In the perfect location, with easy drives to everything Maui has to offer, this one bedroom condo just steps from a beautiful sandy beach is the perfect getaway. Beautiful balcony overlooks the ocean and the pool is a nice place to lay out and view the ocean. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Condo on the Ocean

My husband and I stayed at Sugar Beach 240 Condo on the ocean and it was lovely! The communication with the host was easy, the vibes were good (friendly), and we could see whales from the patio! Thanks for the beautiful few days of relaxation.
