Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts or a family looking to get away. Relax on the deck or around a fire and enjoy the peaceful countryside. Don't forget to check out the Salmon River falls, Lake Ontario or Selkirk Shores State Park!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was spotless, well decorated with fishing-themed artwork, and had everything we needed, from a washer/dryer to a well stocked kitchen, grill, and fire pit. The location was great for our plans, and the property manager was incredibly responsive. We’d gladly stay here again.

Salmon River Retreat was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family to stay while visiting other family in the area. It was the perfect location within driving distance of everything we wanted to do in the area. Communication with the host was top notch. The fire pit was a great accommodation that was enjoyed.

Good location to stay and explore the area. Men fished even though rivers were up due to weather and us women shopped. We also went to Lighthouses and Boldt Castle.It was a very peaceful get-a-way.

Great stay!

My family rented this property to be in town for a wedding it was great! We had everything we needed and were centrally located to events without being right in town which meant we got to enjoy our natural surroundings. The kids enjoyed making s’mores over the campfire and having their own rooms (with air conditioning for those few sweltering nights!) and I loved being able to cook meals instead of eating out every night.

The property itself is in a lovely location with a fabulous backyard and fire pit for relaxing. The inside was modernized with a lovely decor and was very homey. The kitchen supplies were a little light if you planned on doing any cooking, but the grocery store was close by. Otherwise the house had everything we needed. Great stay.

Getaway weekend

Wanted to get away for the weekend, relax, do some fishing and see some actual snow. Everything accomplished! The accommodations were as advertised. The place was actually nicer in person than the photos online. Everything exceeded expectations, cleanliness, comfortability and decor. The owner was prompt when I had a question. I will definitely be back.
